• Alta - We will start the tour from Alta Center with the opportunity to pass by the cathedral of the Northern Lights and to enjoy the impressing view of the landscapes in the Alta Fjord. In our way through Alta we will give you a briefing about this natural phenomenon and the conditions of the day, that leads us to the best place to enjoy them in that night.

Join our small group tour to experience the camaraderie and thrill of hunting for the Northern Lights amidst the stunning landscapes of the Altafjord. Since 2007, we have been organizing guided tours and possess the expertise to locate the Northern Lights when conditions are favorable. On our tours, there is typically an 80-90% chance of witnessing this breathtaking phenomenon. Each tour is unique, as we strive to find the best location with the highest likelihood of seeing the lights. This sometimes requires extensive driving, while other times the lights are found nearby. The driving distance determines whether we set up a campfire or serve hot chocolate and snacks during a brief stop. While enjoying the great outdoors, we will share local stories about Norwegian life, local history from the Stone Age, Sami culture, reindeer herding, World War II, and modern society in Alta. We usually return just after midnight.

• Minimum age of 12 years
• Choose Alta Havn (Alta Harbour) as your pick up place if you are coming to Alta by cruise ship. Our guide will be there looking for you at the parking place with a black minibus.
