Offering vistas of the city’s most iconic landmarks and an easy-on boarding from the Anne Frank house, our canal tour stands as a refreshing deviation from those traditional sightseeing tours your grandmother might have suggested.
Impress your mother and immerse yourself in some cultural enrichment. Move past mundane museums and join genuine Dutch folks. In roughly 60 minutes, we will navigate through Amsterdam’s Golden Age canals recognized as a unique UNESCO Heritage site.

- Departure can be delayed. Our stewards in the bright orange shirts, are there to inform and help you.
- A fairly big step has to be made into the boat. Our stewards will assist you with this.
- When a lot of rain is predicted and/or the weather is colder than expected, the boat will be covered.
- You can cancel your ticket if it rains and you rather stay inside.
- If you are unhappy with your experience, please let us know directly. We strive to be the best in Amsterdam, and if this was not the case, we would be happy to discuss a full refund of your ticket price.

Fun relaxed trip with live guide. - Great to have a live guide not a headset. The people on board interacted, and cruised with a drink. You could ask any questions and have them answered. She was witty and informative. Very relaxed, fun and educational. Good for families and couples.

Do NOT miss the canal tour! - Do this!! The Skipper and the host running the bar were so much fun and so easy to talk and listen to. Our time slot offered both a sundown and night time ride- this offered contrasting views going out and coming back again. We can’t say enough positive things about the two! Solid 10!

Relaxing, Educational - We originally booked a tour at 9, but showed up early and they were super accommodating allowing us to take an earlier boat. It was our tour guides first day, and we had no clue! He was amazing and so well educated!

Amazing staff and beautiful tour - Amazing staff! We had a few rowdy very drunk Dutch guys on board who had to get off in the middle of the tour and the skipper and hostess handled it really professionally. They went out of their way to make up for the inconvenience (that they had no power over), took time out of their own break time to make the tour longer as a courtesy. I don’t know the skippers name but the hostess was Victoria. Both were wonderful and made the tour extra special.
10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful City - I was surprised at how old the buildings along the canals were because they are in such good shape! Amsterdam truly.cares about preserving their history.

Boat Tour - The boat had no shading. U.brellas didn't really work. Either couldn't hear or couldn't understand guides. Very little interesting points of what we were seeing.

Such a bad experience - Very bad experience, we just waited to get out of the boat. Nobody cared for us. Captain and the crew didn't tall to us... Didnt say a single word to our 7 member guest including my kid.

This booking platform will spam you forever ... - While the canal tour was lovely, this booking platform is the spammiest most awful experience I've had in a long time. I have tried to get them to stop messaging me but their system persists. I have no doubt they are also selling my contact information to other entities and it feels like I have ruined my email account by engaging with this product. Extremely disappointing. 😔

DON’T BOOK IT! Click away! - The cost of the tour was 18.50€ at the boat and paying online was 28€. The cruise was booked as Flying Dutchman but there was no Flying Dutchman kiosk at Rikjmuseum and no other operator knew where they were. We clicked the link to the meeting place and ended up having to walk 20 minutes to no place where there was a canal cruise kiosk. Finally entered Flying Dutchman Canal Cruise into Google maps and ended up walking another 20 minutes to the Anne Frank House location. There, a rep from another company honored our ticket. My LAST time booking with Viator.
