- Arba Minch - Upon your arrival, we will greet you at the airport and then drive north through Ethiopia. Our journey will take us through the stunning mountain ranges and dense forests of Mount Entoto. After a two-hour drive, we will arrive at one of Ethiopia’s esteemed monasteries.
- Debre Libanos - Debre Libanos is a historic monastery located northwest of Addis Ababa, founded in the 13th century by Saint Tekle Haymanot. During our visit, we will explore museums housing ancient Bible collections and religious crosses. We will also tour the church’s interior, including the tombs of the monastery’s founder. Following this, we will embark on a 10-minute hike to a cave that served as a prayer area for Saint Tekle Haymanot.
- Portuguese Bridge - Our final stop will be the Portuguese Bridge at the Blue Nile Gorge. Here, you can marvel at the breathtaking landscapes and spot Ethiopia’s endemic Gelada Baboons, as well as a variety of Ethiopian birds.

This great one day trip will depart Addis Ababa at 8.00 am and have you back in the capital by 4.30 pm. The trip highlights include a visit to the Debre Libanos monastery and the Portuguese bridge. Debre Libanos is a monastery in Ethiopia which is lying northwest of Addis Ababa and it was Founded in the 13th century by Saint Tekle Haymanot we will visit the museums that have a lot of ancient bible books collection with religious crosses later we will see the internal parts of the church with the tombs of the founder of the monastery.
The Portuguese Bridge lying at the Blue Nile George to see the wonderful landscapes and Ethiopian endemic baboons which is called the Chelada Baboon and you will have a chance of seeing Ethiopian Birds.
