Arequipa towards the Colca Canyon

Cabanaconde - Once aboard the tourist bus, we will head towards Cabanaconde. Along the way, we will stop at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reserve to observe the local wildlife. Later, we will pause at the Volcanoes Viewpoint, the highest point on the route, to admire the volcanic mountain range of southern Peru. Another stop will be made at the Tapay Viewpoint to appreciate the depth of the Colca Canyon. We will arrive in Cabanaconde around 1:00 PM, where we will have lunch. Afterwards, we can explore various viewpoints along the edge of the Colca Canyon. Optional activities include bicycle or horseback tours. In the evening, we will have dinner and stay overnight in a hotel with a private bathroom.

Tapay Viewpoint - From here, you can see the depth of the canyon and the towns of Malta, Cosñirhua, and Tapay. It is a very impressive viewpoint.

Tapay Viewpoint - This viewpoint offers a view of the Sangalle oasis at the top of the Colca Canyon. It is both beautiful and interesting.

Cabanaconde heading to Arequipa

Mirador Cruz del Condor - On our second day, we will have breakfast at our hotel before heading to the Condor Cross. Here, we can appreciate the depth of the Colca Canyon and watch the condors in flight. We will then continue our tour to the Antahuilque Viewpoint.

Mirador Antahuilque - After visiting the Condor Cross, we will go to the Antahuilque Viewpoint to admire the majesty of the Colca Valley and the pre-Inca terraces. We will then proceed to the Yanque hot springs.

Hot Springs Chacapi - Following our visit to the Antahuilque Viewpoint, we will stop at the Chacapi hot springs to enjoy the medicinal thermal waters for an hour and take in the surrounding landscape. Afterwards, we will head to the town of Chivay for lunch before returning to the city of Arequipa, concluding our tour at approximately 5:00 PM.
