Highlights
  • Iguazu National Park - In 1985 Argentina’s national park was declared a World Heritage Site. Brazil’s national park followed a year later and since 2012 the Iguassu Falls have been one of the seven natural wonders of the world, where millions of visitors are enchanted by this natural beauty every year.
In the midst of the subtropical rainforest, various hiking trails and footbridges have been developed in the upper course of the river, where you are guided step by step through this natural spectacle.
Today it is not uncommon, thanks to the conservation program “projeto carnívoro”, aimed at preserving endangered predators, that the number of jaguars has increased significantly and they are often sighted in the parks.
The Fauna&Flora of Iguassu is home to over 76 mammals such as the tapir, the largest mammal in South America, pumas, capuchin monkeys, over 400 species of birds such as toucans, parrots and hummingbirds, and thousands of flowering plants such as orchids and helicônias.
  • Marco Das Tres Fronteiras - During our photo stop we visit the border triangle between Brazil - Argentina - Paraguay.
It is precisely at this point that the Rio Iguaçu flows into the huge Rio Paraná, one of the richest in South America.
  • Parque Nacional do Iguacu - The Brazilian Iguaçu National Park and the Iguazú National Park in Argentina stand opposite each other like twin parks. The Iguaçu has been a World Heritage Site since 1986 and is located in the state of Paraná, southern region of Brazil.
Since over 75% of the waterfalls are located in Argentine territory, you will get by far the best panoramic views from the Brazilian side.

Amazing efficient experience - The tour was amazing. Pickup was on time, and Rodrigo gave us a lot of cool history and info. He took great pics of us. It truly was the most efficient experience. We didn’t have to worry about anything. We were able to pass 200 cars at the bar with expedited entry which was awesome. I loved this tour and it was so worth the money.

Iguaçu waterfalls both sides - We had a great trip to see the waterfalls from both sides (Brazil and Paraguay) and a boat ride. Everton Oliveira was our tour guide from EBL tours and was excellent, very friendly, patient and took the tour at our own desired pace. It was quite a long day but perfect for us to do what we wanted.

An incredible waterfalls experience on a short trip - We had planned to fly in the morning to Puerto de Iguazú and return the same day on the last flight. Our last flight was rescheduled and we were booked on an earlier flight leaving at 7PM. We were worried we wouldn't have enough time to complete the tour. We did not need to worry. Our transportation picked us up on time at the airport and took us to meet our guide, Everton. Everton sugested we do the brazilian side first in order to avoid the crowds of the argentinian side in the afternoon. This decision saved our tour. Our guides had special permits to cross the borded from Argentina to Brazil without waiting in the queue, which saved us a lot of time. Everton was very knowledgeable on all the park and routes. We even had time to have a luch at a local food joint on the way to the argentinian side. We enjoyed the Argentinian side of the park virtually by ourselves without long lines when usually the paths are crowded in the morning. Thanks to our guide, Everton, we had an amazing experience and were able to enjoy the park practically to ourselves. Although you can try to visit the park on your own, the time saved by local guides more than pays by itself when you consider that most people arrive at the airport, take a taxi to the park and spend hours trying to cross to Brazil. Would definitely recommend this tour.

A Must Do Experience - We were lucky enough to have Rodrigo as our guide. He was very flexible and had great information about the area for both past and present. He had all of the documentation needed to go into each side of the national park along with going across the border. He spoke perfect English and we will look forward to booking another trip with him in the future. This is a must take opportunity if you are planning on going to the falls!!
