Don't hesitate, this will be a highlight of your trip! - Maelle is an amazing guide! She is very knowledgeable and warm. The subject is very dear to her heart, so that the information she gave us had a current feel to it. We gained an understanding of Athens that would not have had without taking the tour. A Perfect Addition to your Trip to Athens! - We went on the "Athens: History of Rebellion Walking Tour" with Maelle and it was an absolute highlight of our time in Athens. There were 5 of us on the tour and Maelle took us through the last 200 years of political rebellion in the city. The tour was informative, interesting, and colorful. She showed us so many fascinating locations and gave us a social justice oriented understanding of Athens/ political scene. Additionally, Maelle took the time to reach out after the tour and share suggestions for restaurants and outings both in Athens and in Naxos, where we were visiting afterward. We highly recommend this tour and any tours or offerings from Maelle!

Great tour to learn about Athens beyond the touristic parts - This is a great tour for those who want to see and hear a bit more about the history of modern Athens and Greek society, beyond the known historical sites. I found it really interesting and definitely recommend it.
I had the privilege of going to a tour with Maelle. She was incredibly knowledgable, sweet and insightful. I got to hear a bit about her own personal experience while leaving in the city.

Outstanding experience in Athens - Great walking tour with a knowledgeable, engaging and friendly guide! I learned a lot about the city and the history of Greece. If you are interested in learning more about the story of Athens go on this tour... - ... and if you aren't interested, you should be!
We really enjoyed our stay in Athens but wanted to learn about its more recent history and the culture that we were seeing as we walked around. This tour really gave us loads of context, some inspiring and interesting stories and we also saw some parts of town that we might not otherwise have seen. This tour is very much recommended.

Don't miss out if you are interested in understanding Athens - This tour is an ideal choice for travelers seeking a deeper understanding of this incredible city and its people, and interested in the history of Greece beyond the ancient times. I saw a side of Athens which a tourist can hardly discover without a local and learnt about some secret spots I cannot share with other tourists:) Maelle was exceptional in making the tour both educational and fun. Perfect - Amazing tour! This experience is the highlight of our stay in Athens. Really feel like we understand the city a lot better now and it was great to get to know the recent history, and the anarchist neighborhood. Our guide was very nice and passionate about Athens, she even gave us great tips to explore Exarchia after the tour for food, street art and sunset spot.
