- Temple of Olympian Zeus - Situated between the Acropolis and the Ilissos River, the grand Olympeion was among the most significant ancient temples dedicated to Zeus and one of the most renowned marble structures of the ancient world. Discussions will focus on the Temple and its tales from an external perspective.
- Acropolis - As the most magnificent sanctuary of ancient Athens, primarily devoted to its patron, the goddess Athena, the Acropolis has been a central feature of the city for millennia. The Acropolis monuments (the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea, the Theater of Dionysus,…) are all exceptional masterpieces of ancient architecture, influencing art and culture for centuries while harmonizing with their natural surroundings.
- Theatre of Dionysus - Dionysus, the god of wine and grape harvest, was honored in the Theatre of Dionysus, the oldest theatre established in Athens. It was here that the unparalleled works of Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, and Aristophanes were first performed.
- Temple of Athena Nike - Dedicated to the goddesses Athena and Nike, the Temple of Athena Nike honored Nike, the goddess of victory in Greek mythology, and Athena, celebrated in this form as victorious in war. Legend has it that the cult statue of the goddess at the temple was wingless to ensure she would never leave Athens.
- Erechtheion - The Erechtheion, an ancient Greek temple on the Acropolis of Athens, was built to house the ancient wooden cult statue of Athena and to celebrate the city’s greatness at the peak of its power and influence.
- Parthenon - Dominating the Acropolis hill in Athens, the Parthenon was constructed in the mid-5th century BCE and dedicated to the Greek goddess Athena Parthenos (“Athena the Virgin”). This temple is widely regarded as the pinnacle of the Doric order’s development, the simplest of the three Classical Greek architectural styles.
- Ancient Agora of Athens - The Agora was the vibrant heart of ancient Athens, serving as the hub of political, commercial, administrative, and social activities, as well as the religious and cultural center and the seat of justice.
- Temple of Hephaestus - The splendid Temple of Hephaestus, one of the best-preserved ancient temples globally, was a place of worship for two significant deities for many merchants and shop owners of the Ancient Agora: Hephaestus, the god protecting all metallurgists, and Athena Ergani, the goddess safeguarding all potters and cottage industries.

A need to do tour when you visit Athens! - Very interesting! I learn a lot about the myth and the sites we visited are really cool. But this is a mythological tour so we didn’t get a lot of time on our own, if you like your own pace and taking a lot pictures and examining things, then this is not for you 😊

Just brilliant! - Brilliant!
Thank you so much to Christina for being such a gentle, kind, lovely person! She is so informative she’s like a little walking encylopaedia! The tour was a lovely walking tour! She explained us both mythological and ancient history! The walk up the acropolis was staggered so we could get into, take it all in and catch our breathe which was a really nice touch! I 10000000% reccomend this tour it was our first time in Athens and was really an amazing day! All the points are so close to eachother, the walk was beautiful and Christina was so helpful and fun!
Thank you for a great day that we will always remember!!

Acropolis visit + watch out for Taxi scams - Bellel visits the acropolis despite the heat. We must have good, non-slip shoes. Beware of Taxi drivers, you must demand to start from meter because some invent that their meter is broken and charges too much. It's sad because all the people are very nice and it reduces the experience.
