Heydar Aliyev International Airport - Arrival at the airport. The journey from the airport to the city center takes about 20-25 minutes. Our company representative will greet guests at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and transport them to their accommodation in our company car.

Gosha Gala Tower - The tour begins at the main entrance of the Old City, known as Double Gates. During the tour, you will see the Chain, Sailor, and Cat Houses, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, and Maiden Tower. The guide will share the history of the Old City and its notable buildings.

Palace of the Shirvanshahs - Next, we visit the Shirvanshahs Palace, a gem of Azerbaijani architecture and the former residence of the Shirvan rulers, located in central Baku. The complex includes the Divan-Khan courtyard, a tomb, a mosque from 1441, a bathhouse, and the mausoleum of court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi.

Bukhara Caravanserai - Built in the late 15th century along the trade route of Icherisheher in Baku, the Bukhara caravanserai features a quadratic shape with a prominent portal and an octagonal courtyard. The courtyard, surrounded by balconies and personal premises, served as a gathering place for travelers and merchants. Restoration in 1964 revealed its large-scale structure.

Maiden Tower - Often compared to the Eiffel Tower of Baku, the Maiden Tower was a 12th-century fortress used by the Shirvanshahs for defense. Its thick walls taper from five meters at the base to four meters at the top. The interior now houses old photographs and a souvenir shop, with a rooftop viewpoint offering panoramic views of Baku Bay and the Old City.

Miniature Books - The Museum of Miniature Books, located in Icheri Sheher, holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of miniature books. Founded by Zarifa Salahova, the museum opened on April 2, 2002, and features over 5,600 books from 66 countries.

Dagustu Park (Upland Park) - Known as Viewing Square and formerly Sergei Kirov Park, Upland Park is a popular spot in Baku for walking, resting, and enjoying sea views. Visitors can relax, breathe fresh air, and enjoy tea at the Highland Park Café while listening to lounge music. The park is especially beautiful at night due to its lighting.

Baku Boulevard - Also known as the National Seaside Park, Baku Boulevard is a favorite promenade for residents and visitors. It is the second largest in Europe after the park along the River Seine in Paris. Established over 100 years ago, the park stretches 3,750 meters along the Caspian Sea, from National Flag Square to Freedom Square. It features museums, cultural facilities, malls, and entertainment centers, including the Devil’s Wheel with views over Baku Bay.

Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum - The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum showcases various carpet weaving techniques and schools from across the country. The museum, housed in a building shaped like a rolled carpet, features over 14,000 exhibits, including rare carpets, jewelry, clothing, and more. It is open Tuesday through Sunday, with varying hours.

Little Venice - Built in 1960 and expanded to 10,000 sq.m., Little Venice in Baku Boulevard features large and small islands connected by bridges and channels. Visitors can ride gondolas and dine at restaurants offering Western and Eastern cuisine. The area is designed to evoke the feel of Venice.

Nizami Street / Tarqovi - Nizami Street, the next stop on the Baku city tour, is a central street filled with shops and restaurants. Visitors can enjoy a 15-20 minute walk and see the Fountain Square with its beautiful fountains.

Fountain Square - A popular spot for strollers, Fountain Square is a leafy piazza in central Baku. It features fountains with shiny silvered spheres and the Nizami Literature Museum’s statue-inlaid facade.

Ateshgah - Fire Temple - The Temple of Eternal Fire, Ateshgah, is a well-known Azerbaijani site located 30 km from Baku in Surakhany. Known for its natural gas outlets that ignite upon contact with oxygen, the temple was built in the 17th-18th centuries.

Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - Yanardag, a famous tourist spot in Azerbaijan, features a hill with natural gas burning on its slope. Located 25 km north of Baku in Mehemmedi village, Yanardag has been a state-protected area since 2007.

Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center - On the way back to the hotel, stop at the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center for photos. Designed by Zaha Hadid, the building is known for its flowing, curved style and houses a conference hall, galleries, and museums. It won the London Design Museum award in 2014.

Gobustan Petroglyphs & Mud Volcanoes

Gobustan Rock Art - On the way to Gobustan, you will see oil rigs that supplied the USSR with oil for over 70 years. The Gobustan Museum provides insights into the area’s history. The site, located 56 km from Baku, features over 3,500 petroglyphs and 20 suburban shelters discovered in 1939-1940.

Mud Volcanoes - Azerbaijan is home to about 300 mud volcanoes, the most in the world. Located near Gobustan National Museum, visitors can see these active volcanoes up close.

Bibi-Heybat Mosque - The Bibi-Heybat Mosque, containing the tomb of Ukeyma Khanum, a descendant of Prophet Muhammad, is a major Islamic monument in Azerbaijan. Known locally as “the mosque of Fatima,” it was described by Alexandre Dumas in the 1840s.

Shamakhi - Lahij - Gabala

Juma Mosque - On the way from Baku to Gabala, visit the Juma Mosque in Shamakhi. Non-Muslims are welcome, but shoes must be removed, and women must cover their heads. Head coverings are provided at the entrance.

Diri Baba Mausoleum - The two-story Diri Baba mausoleum, built into a cliff, features a hall with a passageway to an octahedral cupola. The architecture harmonizes with the surrounding rocks and greenery.

Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum - Located at the foot of Gulistan Fortress, the Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, or “Seven Domes,” is the burial site of Shirvan Dynasty rulers. The half-destroyed stone domes create a mysterious atmosphere.

Lahich - The village of Lahij, accessible via forested and serpentine roads, features two-story houses and cobbled streets. Known for its craftsmen and artisans, Lahij showcases traditional metalworking techniques. The village’s copper works were exhibited at the 1873 World Exhibition in Vienna.

Nohur Lake - Located near Gabala, Nohur Lake is a natural attraction surrounded by mountains. The lake is 1925 m long, 1355 m wide, and covers 240 ha. It is situated 700 meters above sea level.

Seven Beauties Waterfall - Located in Vandam village, the Seven Beauties Waterfall flows from the highest peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. In spring and summer, tea houses along the mountain roads offer tea with traditional Gabala jam.

Tufandag Mountain Resort - Located 4 km from Gabala, Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourist Complex offers skiing, cable car rides, mountain climbing, and other activities. The resort features ski slopes for all levels and equipment rentals.

Gabala - Sheki Tour

Church of Kish - Visit the first Albanian church in the Caucasus, dating back to the 1st century AD. The renovated church in Kish village is now a museum showcasing the history of Caucasian Albania.

Sheki Khan’s Palace - Built in 1762 as a summer residence for the Khan of Sheki, the palace features walls covered in paintings, each with its own meaning. The garden outside has two 500-year-old plane trees.

Sheki Karvansaray - The “Caravanserai” historical complex in Sheki includes two caravanserais, “Yukhari” and “Ashaghi,” built in the 18th-19th centuries. The lower caravanserai has a rectangular shape with a central pool and 242 rooms.

Sheki - Ganja Tour

Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum - The first mausoleum at Nizami’s tomb was built in the 13th-14th centuries. The current building dates back to 1991 and features a sculpture of the poet surrounded by characters from his works.

Shah Abbas Mosque - Located in central Ganja and dating to 1606, Juma Mosque features a red-brick exterior and a large white dome. The mosque was commissioned by Sheykh Baheddin Mohammad Amil of the Persian Safavid Empire.

Bottle House - The Bottle House in Ganja is a private residence built entirely out of glass bottles. Visitors can marvel at this unique structure and support its maintenance by purchasing souvenirs from the stand under the porch.
