The experience begins with a visit to the renowned La Boqueria, where ingredients for the workshop will be sourced.
In the event of a holiday closure at La Boqueria, alternative local shops will be visited to gather the necessary ingredients.
Participants will learn to create a classic Catalan meal and its accompaniments.
After acquiring the ingredients, the group will proceed to a modern workshop-kitchen located in the vibrant, multicultural Raval area of Old Town.
This is a truly ‘hands-on’ cooking class, where everyone will engage in all aspects of food preparation.
Six traditional Catalan recipes will be prepared, including two starters, two main courses, and two desserts.
The workshop promises to be enjoyable, educational, and delectable.
Participants will receive undivided attention throughout the session.
Printed recipes with detailed instructions for each dish are provided, enabling participants to recreate the dishes at home.
Once the cooking is complete, everyone will sit down to savor the results of their efforts, accompanied by Cava, of course.
