With audio commentary providing rich detail, you’ll come away with a deep understanding of the building and Gaudi himself. The best house to see to experience Gaudi's genius and whimsy - This is a stunning place to see - amazing quirky architecture, brilliant practical design. It's also one of the top tourist attractions, so expect it to be very busy (at least in summer). We went at 6pm, supposedly outside peak times, but it was still crowded. You need to pre-book for a timed slot and be there on time. You can still expect to stand in a queue for a little while, as there is a small lift to get you up to the apartment where the visit begins. The alternative if you're reasonably fit is to take the stairs (I think there were around 6 flights to ascend). There is an audio-guide with extensive descriptions - which can be a bit frustrating as it uses proximity sensing so it automatically changes chapters as you walk around, even if you're still listening to the previous chapter! For us, the most interesting parts were the "attic" (the unique "whale-shaped" arch design and lots of interesting exhibits describing Gaudi's design process), and the roof (with beautiful views of Barcelona). You can also book night-time concerts on the rooftop, which we did. This allows you to experience the views and the quirky shapes in a more leisurely manner, including seeing the sunset. However you won't be given access to the apartment.

Don't Miss if you appreciate Gaudi. - Really fun, and great explanation of Gaudi's architecture, his life and his engineering. It was so well done and really helps put all of Gaudi's architecture in perspective. The house itself is also very impressive as is the rooftop

A great place to visit whilst in Barcelona - This was another great house that we visited whilst in Barcelona. This was was also very interesting with a whole floor of apartments shown how it would have been years ago. Th attic space is amazing and also the rooftop is nothing like we have seen before.

Truly stunning - A truly stunning building with a very interesting back story. Definitely worth getting the audio tour as it adds a lot to the appreciation for what you’re looking at. A walk around the roof is definitely worth it if you can handle heights but it’s a bit slippy if it’s raining, as it was when we were there. Take loads of pictures as it’s only afterwards, when you’ve had time to digest it all, you can really appreciate the experience.

For me a tour of two halves but a worthy part 2 - An enlightening experience. Starting in the courtyard, the first part of the tour covers the main property where wealthy families of the day would have lived. My personal taste, it was ok but not that thrilling. It's an apartment! The second half where you go up to the attic and rooftops is the best part of this tour. The attic provides far more information on Gaudi's mindset when renovating the property along with details about a number of his other projects around the city. Then up to the rooftops for views across the city with Sagrada Familia in the distance. The architecture is fantastic and well worth visiting.

Highly recommended this exoeriance for a midday trip - The aduio tour was good, the views on the roof top are amazing. This venue is idea for a midday experience as most of the experience is undercover and cooler. My son really likes the different types of architecture, and CAD designed explaining the theory behind the designs. Having been there before myself, pre- covid, it was interesting to see that you weren't able to walk down the covered staircase in the main entrance or go into the apartments that I visited. Nevertheless, the experience was amazingly

Spectacular rooftop and rooftop views. - In my opinion, the best part of this tour is the amazing rooftops structures and the view. It would be nice if they offered tickets for just the rooftop at a lower price. Don’t get me wrong it is all very impressive, but if you don’t have a lot of time that option would be perfect. If opting between Casa Batllo and La Pedrera, I would choose Batllo. However, if you book both and have time in between there is a chocolate shop, turrón shop and an empanada place on the same street as the exit of La Pedrera.
