- We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
- All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security
- As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.
- Please, be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure time
- Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.

The Amazing Sagrada Familia - We booked our tour with Julia Travel prior to arriving in Spain and so glad we did. The Sagrada Familia is truly a monumental spiritual and architectural design achievement made accessible thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Irina S. She provided us with so much detail about the cathedral’s history, design, and features. Irina S. was very knowledgeable about Antoni Gaudi’s life and background as well. She also enabled us to swiftly enter the site and navigate the large crowds. Seeing the Sagrada Familia with Irina’s help was an amazing experience!

Can’t be missed! - The Sagrada Familia is an attraction that cannot be missed if visiting Barcelona. And having a knowledgeable and outgoing tour guide such as Raoul only adds to the experience. The cathedral is a marvel of architecture, both inside and out!

Easy purchase with a glitch - I was able to purchase three tickets easily and quickly on Viator and received the tickets promptly. However, when I went to the tour operator, they said that they will not be able to accommodate us in tbe tour because they were oversold. It appears that Viator was not able to check the current availability accurately while selling us the tickets. To be fair, this was a last minute purchase on a day that was sold out everywhere else. In the end the tour operator was able to accommodate us due to other cancellations and we were able to visit. YMMV.

Would not recommend - The tour guide was like a robot. Said a sentence in English, then repeated it in Spanish. He spoke so fast and with no feeling for what he was teaching. Obviously he does too many of these tours each day and is just going through the motions. Plus it was hard to understand him and hard to hear at times. I would have prefer if they had broken us in to English speakers and Spanish speakers.

A waste of time - Our guide was NOT good. It took 45 minutes from the start of the tour to even make it into the cathedral area.

This tour was canceled by... - This tour was canceled by the sagrada several weeks before the event we received no update from Viator, nor have we received an expected refund. We were given information by your local tour office on how to contact you for said refund we look forward to hearing from Viator. This is the first time this has ever happened with your company. We look forward to your response.
