Great food and history shared - We had a great day out, trying lots of different foods, exploring districts we otherwise wouldn't have and learning about German history and what it's like to live in Berlin today. The food we sampled was varied, and again, it was from places that we wouldn't have naturally chosen ourselves. Our guide Elena was fun, friendly and offered lots of information along the way. She was also more than happy to take questions and get involved with the group at each stop. Would definitely recommend for people looking to sample a slightly different version of food available in Berlin!

Book the tour! - Great experience today with Lee. He was knowledgeable and catered to what we wanted education on. As traveling Chefs, we wanted to know a lot about the food preparation and the history behind it. Lee was knowledgeable in these areas and made sure we didn’t freeze. With cold temperatures and pouring rain, he made every effort to find warm drinks and dry places to have conversations and didn’t make us stand in the elements for 4 hours. Highly recommend.

Food adventures inBerlin - What a wonderful day of eating, walking and enjoying the multi ethnic neighborhoods of Berlin. Elena was a super guide.. She is very knowledgeable about how migrant culture has influenced Berlin's food culture and imparts this knowledge with great humor. We ate a lot and all was tasty. This should be a must for anyone visiting Berlin

History and foodie tour rolled into one! - Great history lesson as well as foodie tour. Despite the gruelling 35c temps, our small family enjoyed the diversity of food, drinks and Berlin history with Holger. Having extensive ties to the former east side, we learnt even more about the cultural dynamics of Berlin's Kreuzberg district, and east/west borders over the last 100+ years. It was interesting to hear the west Berlin hometown perspective. Too bad a couple of the stops were on siesta due to the heat, but we loved the Späti, currywurst, baked goods and Vietnamese food. Curry 7 beats out Curry 36 - just saying. A highlight for us was the graffiti scenes. Thank you Holger!

Delicious food -intriguing history - Our entire family enjoyed this experience and the food. Our guide Lee was well informed and engaging and shared history of the neighborhoods, placing the food we were eating in context. We enjoyed getting off the beaten path to see the back of a beautiful mosque and the club where David Bowie played. Our favorite bites were the kimchi fries (a perfect dish) and the flammkuche pizzas. Highly recommend!
