Extremely professional and fantastic experience. - Just back from the 11 day Ladakh tour with Motorbike Expeditions. From my enquiry last year through to the excellent and safe payment system and onto the tour itself, it's been a first class and professional experience. I am lucky to have ridden in 35+ countries and rented bikes all over the world as well as used many operators. None have come close to these guys. Very friendly, trustworthy and honest, they have an excellent fleet that includes both the 410 and 450 Royal Enfield Himalayan. The bikes are in superb condition and the mechanic checks the bikes twice a day. There is also 2 guides on bikes and a support truck for bags. An added bonus is the photographer/videographer who takes pictures in some fantastic locations. The route is well thought out and builds up to riding the highest motorable road in the world which is Umling La (please note that the European/British/aussie/USA tour operators only offer khardung La which is not the highest anymore and is as busy as central delhi and are double the price of this locally owner and super professional operator). I could go on with superlative after superlative, they are that good. I am happy to be contacted via the company for references, which I don't give out easily. Go and try them and live the Himalayan dream, just like I did. You will not be disappointed.

An Unforgettable Experience - My wife (as a pillion) and I truly had a fantastic experience riding the Himalayas with the Motorbike Expedition. Ashak and his team are passionate about what they do, and they had the whole trip planned very well. From the gradual acclimation process by starting slow from lower altitude to gradually going up to high places. They take care of absolutely everything! The road is 50% tarmac, and the rest is either gravel, rocks, sand or mud. You will have to have cross multiple water crossing including a river on your bike. The backup car and mechanic are always ready in case of need. We never really have to worry about anything other than soaking in the nature beauty at every turn. We've gone through 4 regions of the Himalayas and countless high passes (Shinkula, Khadungla, Tanglangla, Nakeela, Umlingla!!!) and rode through the Atal tunnel (9km long and highest in the world). The dip in the Pangong Lake is unforgettable! Doing all these with my wife as a pillion rider all the way! I'd say it's impossible without the Mototbike Expedition team so I highly recommend them to anyone who seek riding adventure in Himalaya.

Memorable Himalaya Tour - What is a Motorbike Adventure ? It can be anything from a local trip to a continental tour. But if you are looking for that special memory & a mix of everything, Motorbike Expeditions Himalaya Tour delivers it in spades !!! The staff go above & beyond to make your adventure special, nothing is too much trouble, no matter what the request. You will travel on sand across deserts, on gravel, mountain switchbacks, water crossings with the pinnacle being the highest motorable pass in the world - Umling La - & not many people can say that. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, they catered to all my needs & I have made new lifelong friends & a memory that will last a lifetime. Huge Thanks Motorbike Expeditions

Humbling and inspiring 🙏🏽👌 - Choosing to go with Motorbike Expeditions (owned and run by very experienced and professional locals) was the best decision I’ve made. The guides ,Amith ,Rahul and team could not have been better. The bike, Himalayen411 , agile and fit for purpose , accomadation was good to excellent. Road conditions- sand ,gravel water crossings ,scary traffic and tar, changing daily and hourly.( being 65yrs old and with hip replacements both sides, managed the pace) Scenery was awesome Hats of to ME , made my dream come true.Thank you for awesome memories and wishing your business grows from strength to strength 🙏🏽❤️💪🏼👌

Fantastic experience. Will book with them again. - Do this trip with Motorbike Expeditions. I know what you are thinking. How can I be sure I won’t send my money to some scammer and show up in Delhi with nothing to show for it? These guys are legit. They are responsive and supportive from the moment you book to helping you get to the airport. The good. Too much to list here. Everyday is more challenging g and rewarding than the next. If you want/need something, the ME team does as much as they can to help you get it. My brand new RE Himalayan 450 transmission broke halfway down a mountain and I had to coast for 7km. It wasn’t their fault but they quickly gave me a team members bike and replaced the 450 the next day. We culminated our adventure at Umling La pass, the highest in the world. Many tours won’t try it because it is hard to get to and return to a village lodge for the night. The bad - just get use to the idea this is a difficult ride and you will experience some discomfort. That is a big part of the adventure and cannot be avoided. The UmLing La area has only been open to foreigners for a year and is still strictly controlled by the Indian Army. The company will do all they can but sometimes it rains, snows, landslides, or some bureaucrat throws poop at you. It happens. Just relax and enjoy the experience. Finally, most of the accommodations are top notch. There are a couple of tents and rooms with limited electricity and very little WiFi. Just plan for it. ME is a small but growing company and I am telling you, I cannot imagine a better motorbike experience in Ladak. I’m already looking at their southern India trips for the future.

Amazing experience with motorbike expeditions - From the get go, communication via email with motorbike expeditions were clear, any questions or enquires were answered. During the expedition, Amit and team ensured every logistics and safety aspects were met. Bikes were prep every morning, and if there r issues then mechanic will fix it right away. The Itinerary was planned very nicely. They ensured the road to LEH was progressive to acclimatise the altitude. The scenery and views were breath taking. Accomodations were comfortable and relaxing (remote and quiet). Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure in Ladakh. And the team of motorbike expeditions are highly recommended should you wish to engage a guide for your adventure.

The most inspiring and challenging and overwhelming experience of my life. :) - As a woman, who has never been to India, who came solo, and although I have ridden for over 15 years, I have never ridden off road.. i have to say initially i was a tad nervous. This experience was top to bottom amazing. The landscapes, the culture, stunning. The accommodations and driving scenarios unique, and interesting. The team, kind, encouraging, helpful and always on top of everything (they honestly never stopped. at the end of the day they made sure we were all cared for, and then went over every inch of every bike to make sure everything was in full running order) I can’t say enough about how awesome EVERYTHING was. thank you thank you thank you if you are considering this ride. Do it! You will never forget this life altering challenging and beautiful 11 days. More than a ride, a full experience.

5+ stars. Loved every minute - If you are considering a motorcycle trip to Ladak, I am sure you are worried you will send your money to some scammer and end up in Delhi with no trip. I am telling you, these guys are legit. I was so impressed with the responsiveness and assistance, both before and during the ride. You should consider flying into Bhuntar (Alliance Air) a day early because the bus trip makes it tough to rest and you immediately go on a local ride. Other than this, they run a life changing adventure. On day three we were going over Kardug La (2nd highest pass) where they had 2 feet of snow the night before. Instead of significantly changing the route and mailing things easier for themselves, our guides waited it out and we were the first bikes over the pass once it opened. The Umling La day is one serious event. You need some experience on a bike. I ride a Goldwing but have little off road experience I was challenged but did not drop the bike. Go with the 452 upgrade. I speak for the whole group who just finished (June 26, 2024), this is an outstanding event and you should do it.
