• Sandhornoy - The journey begins in Bodø, heading south along the eastern side of Sandhornøya, navigating between the island and the mainland towards Beiarfjorden.
• Beiar Fjord - Passing beneath the bridge, the entrance to Beiarfjorden is made. This fjord is renowned for its leisure fishing opportunities and distinctive geological features. The route will take us through a narrow passage to reach the fjord’s end. In winter, parts of the fjord may freeze over.
• Saltstraumen - If time permits, the return trip will include a visit to Saltfjorden and Saltstraumen, home to the world’s strongest tidal current.
