It's cool. - It was fine. Peles Castle was closed, unfortunately. And the exterior was also under restoration. It was OK overall but nothing spectacular both in terms of the sites and the guide.

Well-organised no-nonsence day-trip to Transylvania - Our guide and driver were very punctual. Our guide was somewhat despondent and a man of relatively few words. Both castles have narrow corridors along which the masses must proceed quickly and in orderly fashion. All destinations beautiful, well-maintained and clean. The bus was very comfortable, the air conditioning a savour in +30 degrees. This trip is a good initiation for people who have never been to Romania before.

Day trip to vist two castles and a town walk - There was much confusion initialy over the pickup point ,very sparse commentary and information along the journey ,Peles castle was wonderful but massivley over subsrcibed,so much so the tour was delayed by at least half an hour due to inadaquate toilet facilities,we ended uo missing a whole floor due to the tight shedule, The trip to Bram was better but we spent more time than was needed Bram castle was a little disapointing ,the journey to next venue was OK with a stop at local town and a walking tour. I think a stop for a toilet beak just befoe Peles would have eased the tight and rushed shedule.

Monica is a lousy tourguide who needs training - I’ve taken several tours from your company and I’ve generally been extremely satisfied. This one was disappointing, not so much because of the content but because of the tour guide. The only reason I knew Monica‘s name was because she sent a text letting me know that. From the get-go, she was extremely unfriendly. It seemed burdensome for her to answer any questions about what we were seeing. One person asked her a question about Vlad the Impaler and she currently responded. I’ll tell you when we get there. The only person she interacted with the bus driver. Perhaps her company needs to retrain her or tell her to find another career. It mat do her a world of good Intern intern at a free tour company to see what an excellent tour guide is like.

Rushed around with an absent guide - If all you ever wanted was a full day tour of a romanian bus, then this is the one tour you should book. The tour was supposed to consist of 3 locations: Peles Castle, Brasov, Bran Castle. We found out only after departure that Peles would be closed on our arrival. Maybe we could have done our research before booking but it doesn't sound so far fetched to assume that if the tour is bookable for a certain day, then the locations should also be visitable for that day. Even a heads-up a few days prior would have sufficed. We got none of that. We still kind of saw the castle from outside so whatever. Next stop Brasov: we arrived just before lunch and barely had time just for that before departing again. We saw a beautiful restaurant but got next to 0 of the historical city centre because the tour operator was hurrying to get us to Bran Castle, the main (only) event for this trip. We eventually got to Bran Castle around 2.10PM and there was a huge line, which for fairness our guide predicted there would be. We managed to get inside at around 3PM or a few minutes after that and had to hurry through the castle because departure was at 3.40PM. We, as well as other tour participants, have tried to ask the guide to stay a little bit longer for a variety of reasons: to properly enjoy the castle which is not visitable in just 30 minutes, to look at the extras like the torture chamber, to take some time and visit the numerous souvenir stands in front of it. The guide was adamant that she and the driver were only getting payed for 1 hour and a half and that is all we're getting. Nothing else mattered so at 3.50PM or 3.55PM we were on the bus and departing Bran Castle to go back to Bucharest. All in all I'm bitter because we didn't get to see anything, and the one thing we could have seen, was rushed and stressful. Also, the guide I referred to above didn't really feel like a guide. She did give us some superficial context about Brasov or Bran Castle while on the bus but at all locations it was always "free time". We are not in kindergarten to be given free time to roam around. We paid for a guide to come with us and tell us about the places while visiting them. There were many such guides at Bran Castle with their groups explaining the history, architecture and whatnot. Ours spent 2 minutes in the entrance to the Castle to skip-read through the names of some historical figures and then got out, giving us "free time" to run through the castle in that half an hour. We saw none of the beautiful gardens in front of it because there was no time. We spent close to 8 hours on a bus going nowhere and rushing to go back. Would not recommend this to anyone. I'm giving 2 stars because they did take us from Bucharest and bring us back without loosing us along the way, but that's a very low bar to clear... Definitely didn't get what we paid for.

A Rude Tourguide Named Monica Made the experience so much less enjoyable - My wife and I were very much looking forward to this trip. We read many rave reviews about the company, but we saw some about an extremely rude tour guide. Nobody named her but I would be happy to do so. Her name is Monica Visan. From the minute I got on the bus I saw her apathy and lack of interest in our group. All she told us about the tour was that there were going to be delays due to events in the area. When we got to our first site, Peles Castle , she ran in front of us not minding the group. I asked her to slow down because a lot of stranglers and she gave me a dirty look. She seemed to know the rudiments the castle gave us as little information as she could. We got back on the bus somebody asked about Bran Castle and Dracula . She currently replied to the person that they’ll have to wait until they get close to the castle. Minimal information. We stopped in Brasov for about 90 minutes. We could’ve made it for 60 minutes. She did not interact with anybody on the tour other than the bus driver. She could’ve told us all about her country. I’ve taken several Viator tours and this one fell far short of my expectations. I would recommend that Monica be better trained or find another career as it is quite apparent that she is barely going through the motions. Disnot say a single word To anybody
