An Ok Tour - We enjoyed hearing the stories from our guide who was someone who lived and grew up in the area. However there were times when our guide talked a little too long. The tour basically only covered the main synagogue and museum and very little of the Jewish Quarter was seen. The synagogue was also very crowded, loud and warm.

It was fine - Beautiful places and I enjoyed hearing about the old and WW2 history. The Tree of life was notable as was Tony Curtis as the sponsor of it.

Disappointingly disrespectful guide. - I would give negative stars if I could. Susie, the tour guide, is the rudest and most disrespectful tour guide I have ever encountered!! Never have I had a tour group that all discussed leaving the tour due to her rude behavior and level of disrespect. I'm young, but there was a majority of 60+ aged people in the group. Susie seems to really strongly dislike the elderly! It was upsetting. She was 15 min late, no apology. No way to identify her as a tour guide. Let people join the group who didn't pay. Never took roll or counted the people. Lost a person momentarily. Started tour by saying "Obviously you all know who Herzel is, so, go. Take your pictures." Well no, we all don't know and we were there to learn! Was annoyed to explain. She humiliated those who asked questions. Argued with someone and said "Wanna BET?" Cussed inside the synagogue. Wouldn't answer questions (example: "your question is out of chronological order! I can't answer that now. I will later!") and never did. Older men asking her a question and she'd snap at them that she already said that. Others googled questions she wouldn't answer. I can go on and on. 4 hours of misery. Would've loved to learn more about Jewish history. Try a different tour maybe. I heard and saw other guides around that seemed personable and kind.
