Can highly recommend - We had a really excellent time at the spa. We’d booked private changing cubicles and could leave our things locked in there. We purchased towels (3 different choices - disposable, thin or proper beach towel) and bathing caps, which you only need in the outside swimming pool. We took our own flip flops. Loved all the different pools with different temperatures. The outside pools were particularly enjoyable. Also various different saunas from naked to Dante hot with everything in between, and steam rooms. The smell is not drains but the sulphur from the spa water. I took my phone in a waterproof case to take photos. You can put it back in your locker easily when you’ve finished with it.

A nice experience - A nice experience. It is quite crowded but it’s a tourist “thing to do” and glad we done it. 3 hours is plenty of time for visiting the thermal spas. It is a little dated and flip flops and a towel needed. They can be purchased at the baths as others have said but flip flops £10 and we took towels with us. We didn’t eat but there’s a bar and cafe there so worth taking something to keep money dry.

Spa - overpriced for what it was but a nice experience - Spa was very overpriced for what it was. Two hours there is long enough and at £34 each that’s expensive ! They could make a lot more of the spa and it needs some refurbishment !

Could have been better - We found the signage terrible, the steps leading to the bath should have railings and grips on the stairs one guest had an hard fall and the wine tasting was misleading- very far and getting directions at the bath was impossible. But once we made our way there it was excellent

Beware! - Beware the Polinka museum was closed and we received a late email saying that the tasting would be done on the waterfront, close to the ChainBridge. The boat was depressing and the tasting was just half of what was expected. The Spa was as expected. NOT worth the money!

Waste of money and time - In one word: terrible. We were looking forward to the spa because it had great reviews, but we were very disappointed. It was cold everywhere and the windows were ajar even though it was December 30th and 1 degree outside. Everything was really old and it was quite dirty. You get chips when you enter, but in the poor buffet you can only pay in cash or by card (mobile), so you have to go outside in the winter in a wet swimsuit to the changing room to get your mobile or money, go back to the amazing buffet after the winter and then go back to the changing rooms and put your money or mobile away. There were so many people in the spa, so you can't enjoy a nice swim. For some reason, you can only swim in the large swimming pool with a swimming cap, so there were two people there and no one else. The saunas were also crowded, but it was the only place where it was warm. No chairs or loungers anywhere where you could put your things and where you could possibly relax. If you buy tickets in advance online, you are not guaranteed to get in or wait outside until someone inside leaves. Of course, the money for the tickets is not refundable even if you don't get in. We will definitely not be returning here and we do not recommend a visit to anyone else. A waste of money and time.

Do not go here!!, there are cheaper and better spas available in budapest - I'd like to make a complaint as I was told slippers HAD TO BE WORN so I bought the very overpriced slippers there then I took them off to get in the water and they got stolen within the first 15 minutes.. refusing to pay for another pair I was told to leave! Terrible service the pools we did see were dirty the place was run down
