• Tonle Sap Lake - Your Local English-speaking guide will meet you at 8 am from your hotel. As you travel to Tonle Sap Lake which will take about 1 hour drive and you’ll pass by markets and small villages and along the causeway to the lake’s edge. When we reach the Khleang River, we’ll transfer to a private river craft for the next phase of our trip – a peaceful ride that takes us to Kompong Khleang village and then on to the flooded forest and farm (in dry season Oct-Jun).
  On reaching the village, you’ll note that many of the homes are built on high stilts, some standing as tall as 10 meters. With your guide, you’ll visit the village and later, we will have picnic lunch a local house in Kompong Khleang where you’ll enjoy way of life in village.
  At the end of the tour we will make our way back to Siem Reap and drop you off at your guest house or hotel.

Our journey will take us eastward from Siem Reap to the secluded fishing community of Kompong Khleang. We set off in the morning in a climate-controlled vehicle to reach the remarkable Tonle Sap Lake. From there, our expedition continues up the Kleang River on our private boat, where we’ll witness stilt houses designed to evade the floods during monsoon season, and immerse in the vibrant Cambodian lifestyle along the region’s largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. We’ll enjoy a picnic-style lunch at a local dwelling in the village before concluding the trip with a drop-off at your hotel.
