Nice trip and experience - Booked a jungle snorkel tour with Julian and his team at the Fiesta Americana Condesa. He did a great job explaining everything. The facility was nice and appeared well run. The boats we rented were in good condition. Omar our guide for the trip was patient and helpful. It was a great tour and a good value. We would consider another tour through them based on our family’s experience.

short visit - The idea is great, the execution not so much. the staff was preoccupied with a group of people that didn’t know how to swim and we lost 20 min just floating around waiting for the guide. they shouldn’t let you board if you don’t know how to swim!! The snorkelling itself is a little swim around a very small area, one statue and that is it, I guess if you stay for the 2 hours it may be a different tour. And not their fault but the undercurrents are really strong.

Extremely disappointed return customer - When I went to Cancun back in 2018, this was my favorite part of our entire trip without question. So for our recent Cancun trip with friends in March 2024, I convinced everyone that we had to do this. I now feel very guilty for convincing anyone to spend money on this experience. It has changed drastically since I went in the past. 2018: A group of 10-15 people were taken out on a speedboat that had part of the floor as glass. The boat ride was very comfortable and drinks were provided throughout the ride. Two stops were taken for snorkeling in different locations. One had many really large and interesting underwater statues and the second had an abundance of fish. The tour guides were also fantastic throughout. Overall, it was an absolutely incredible experience. 2024: A group of 20-25 people are taken out on an inferior boat that is labelled as a shuttle. There are still drinks provided throughout (beer, water, soft drinks), but my tour did run out of water by the end of the day. You are brought to an anchored platform where there is a sub/glass bottom boat to take you around and then snorkeling occurs in the surrounding area of the platform. The underwater museum consists of many different snorkeling locations, and unfortunately this tour has definitely switched to an inferior location. The water in this area is very shallow and the statues are on a much smaller scale than what we saw previously (e.g. a statue of a single person v. the statues of a whole army of people we saw last time). There are sea turtles in this area though which were very fun to see! Although we missed the glass bottom boat portion of the tour (through our own fault of not understanding what our ticket entailed), we observed people go on that for about 20-30 minutes. The snorkeling tour lasted about 30 min as well. Afterwards, you are stuck on the floating platform until the shuttle arrives to pick you up and bring more people for the next tour, which is 2-2.5 hours after it dropped you off! As someone prone to seasickness, even the dramamine I took beforehand did not fully prevent me from being queasy on this anchored 2 story platform. You are able to go swimming and snorkel around the platform on your own, but there was still an excess of free time. I was so excited when the shuttle finally arrived to take us home. Overall, the snorkeling portion was good but definitely did not meet the high bar set from my tour several years ago. I appreciated getting to see sea turtles in the area, but being stuck on the floating platform for 1+ hours was very challenging and not what I had in mind when signing up for this tour. I would have paid double what I had if the tour was similar to how it had been in 2018. According to the staff, they no longer have the boats they had back then that I showed them a photo of. I would highly recommend finding a different snorkeling experience for your trip.

SCAM! - SCAM!!! It was a scam. It was quite windy in the days before so underwater visibility was terrible. We had a snorkeling booked in Tulum the day before that got canceled because of this, of course that was a responsible and fair service provider, unlike AquaWorld. I texted them in the morning, they canceled the early morning trip but then a few hours later they said that our original planned 11am trip is happening. So they took us out to the reef and surprise, surprise it was like swimming in a murky lake. You couldn't see past your own leg. So they took us out snorkeling where you couldn't do the only thing that was advertised. We complained at the front desk, they agreed but said we need to contact Tripadvisor because we booked through them. So that's what we did, but Tripadvisor says that since we took part on the trip, it happened successfully. A total scam because the provider KNEW that the visibility is useless. The minimum they could have done is advise us in advance about our chances.

This SUCKED, Unless you are a 20 something female - The worst service ever! We have been on several Aquaworld tours including a discover dive, three two tanks Scuba dives, Jungle Tour, snorkeling the Musa and others. All of which were either excellent or at least worth the $$ we paid. This one WAS THE WORST! Absolutely not worth our money. The young men staff at landing boat were too interested in the young girls to pay attention to anyone else. I did, however find out that this young girl was 22 and from Argentina because I had to listen while trying to ask for a mask THREE TIMES! These photos were taken by my wife after we got out of the water. This employee spoke to the young lady for approximately 30 minutes We left the activity early and actually got to snorkel for about 10 minutes. I want my money back!!
