Best experience I've had - The place is amazing for those who like archaeological history, enjoy and bring sunscreen and water because the sun is very strong there, for people who want to take photos in the temple advice to go in the back of the temple because there are not many people and it gets cool the photos.

Safe and Enjoyable - Frank, Omar & Rene were all very friendly and patient! We went to Chichen Itza and stopped by the Cenote and Valladolid. Frank, who was our bilingual tour guide, was very knowledgeable and funny. They all made us feel safe and welcome. We had 4 adults and 3 school aged children. I would recommend this tour!

Great locations worth seeing- more driving than expected - First the positives. Marcela was a fantastic tour guide. She was friendly and knowledgeable and her communication was great. Amigo tours in general had wonderful communication from booking through drop off. The cenote at Chichikan was absolutely beautiful and worth seeing. The location we went was great, the lunch was really good (however a word of caution, we were charged $54 for drinks which we assumed were included), and the tequila tour was quick. They do a little Mayan Shaman demo when you arrive and they will take you to a mini gift shop Valladolid was a 20 minute stop- just enough time for a photo of the church and to grab an ice cream. I think they could probably skip this part of the tour The Chitchen itza part of the tour was good- you see the big highlights but if you’re looking to really adventure there this probably isn’t the tour for you. The 2 hours we were there flew by pretty quickly For the negative: there’s a lot of driving. More than I anticipated. We were the first picked up and the last dropped off. We spent 1.5 hours (at minimum) picking people up and dropping people off each way (3 hours of this tour included pick ups and drop offs for us) which made it a very long day. Had we known, we probably would have booked something private and saved ourselves a few hours of driving. Pickup at the hotel was 7:50am and we were dropped off at 9:45pm. We had no clue where we were in the pickup when we booked.

Mixed feeling of the tour, but wont do it again - Definitely not what I was expecting. On the way to Cenote, the guide was talking all the way trying to sell something. After we arrived the first 30min ish we were “forced” to stay in the gift shop. Look I get it, they want to sell things to tourist but holding people in the name of “ your table is not ready” just doesn’t feel right. The Cenote is very nice, enjoyed the swim. The buffet on the other hand is, mediocre. The drink is not included, but they also doesn’t allow you to drink your own water. The Itza is good. Our tour guide Francisco is very knowledgeable. Marcela is also very helpful and enthusiastic as well.

Horrible. - I booked the Chichén Itza tour and emailed my hotel address to see if we can have pick up. Days passed, they confirmed pick up the day before now we are waiting in the lobby before pick up and they did not show up. I called to ask and they went to the wrong hotel, the person from Amigo tours answered the phone but was very dismissive and when I made attempt to take the cab and meet the tour he told me contact Viator and hung up. I have never experienced such horrible customer service my whole life. The worst!

Changed pick up location! - Company changed pick up location from original reservation. Came early and did not give us enough time to walk over to new location. They would not come back and would not reschedule our reservation. Horrible customer service!
