Family Fun Adventure! - Thank you to our guide team, Frank, Juam, and Rodolfo who were fabulous during our tour. Our route started at the cenote, which was beautiful. If your route starts here, it’s a good idea to wear your swimsuit and bring a change of undergarments for after. We purchased the locker beforehand, which made it very smooth. Lunch was at this location as well—go with the tacos, the other buffet items were basic. The stop at Valladolid was quick, but just enough. Frank pointed out a chocolate shop, Choco-Story, which has Mexican chocolate bars that make a great gift to bring back home (FYI: they take credit card). Also, it was calm in this shop compared to the other restaurants and shops in this square that try to grab your attention to sell. We ended at Chichen Itza, which was outstanding. We began looking at the monument separately from the group and rejoined after we took our pictures. The guide shared and demonstrated all the wonders of the monument, so we were happy we rejoined the group. It’s clear from the listing that this was an all day event, we were picked-up around 8:05am and got dropped off around 8:30pm, but the day is planned very intentionally. Every stop had the right amount of allocated time and the drives never felt draggy. The tour route set-up also was great—it never once felt too hot or too overcrowded in either of the spots. Would definitely recommend this tour! My family and I were so glad to experience it together too. Thank you Frank, Juam, and Rodolfo!

Glad I took this tour.... - Glad I took this tour. Rodrigo and Omar were great tour guides and Olly (?) a great driver. I was the first to be picked up at 445am for the 5am tour and then pickup of the rest of the group took some time, so definitely be prepared with your own coffee/snacks in the morning, as there is nothing till you get to Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza does have a snack stand with coffee/food once you get there.

Long day but worth the trip - This was our first time going to Chichen Itza. The entire outing was amazing. We had no complications but wished we had more time in Chichen Itza earlier in the day. Traveling with young children, they were exhausted by the time we got there (last stop). The gift shop at the cenote was rather pricey, I wish I had known there would be many street vendors at our last stop with more affordable options. The guides we had were also amazing, Maro and Isaac were knowledgeable and friendly. We could not have asked for better guides honestly.

Highly recommend - We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion! Our guide, Pastor, was incredibly knowledgeable about Chichen Itza, Mayan culture, and all aspects of the three tour stops. He explained (in English and Spanish) complex concepts of the Mayan culture in ways that made them accessible. Our knowledge of and respect for Mayan culture and history deepened significantly. Our driver, Raul, provided excellent service. We particularly enjoyed Chichikan -- swimming in the cenote was simply incredible. Take advantage of the tequila tasting -- delicious! We recommend taking the early tour. A 5:00am pick-up is early, but you'll beat the crowds at Chichen Itza and Chichikan, and you'll leave Chichen Itza before it gets really hot.

Amazing tour - The Tequila Group was the best!!! We thank Manuel, Ramiro y Angel for this amazing day! This tour is the best of the options available, everything was great, the pick-up and the check-in went smoothly, the bus was very comfy and had a bathroom, Manuel gave us a lot of interesting information, the place where we had lunch was truly special and the food wad good. We would have liked 30 minutes more at Chichen Itza and 30 minutes more in Valladolid, but it was good as it was also, everything was right on schedule. Personally I don’t think the full option is worth it (you can pay for the chichen itza tax and lifesaving vest the night before the trip and the only thing that is not included are the drinks at the restaurant but you can pay for them there, they are not expensive). Many thanks again to Tequila Group!!

LONG day but worth it - The cenote was our favourite part, and learning about all the history of mayans. It was about a 14 hour day from our resort

A long but enjoyable experience. - The Temple of Kulkukan was amazing. More time there would have been appreciated. Our guide, Isaac, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing all he knew. That was very appreciated. It was a very long day.

It was bad do not recommend - Bus was late and left without me. The company does not help. They will tell you to catch the next spot out of your way and if you do not make it that your problem. Also there was another bus that pass by my hotel apparently you will pay 21 dollars extra. If they are late it okay to wait.

Very disappointed, irresponsible service, feel scammed - The Amigo Tour failed to pick us up or they went to other wrong location. Their communication and emergency contact number were completely unresponsive. We tried to reach out multiple times but received no reply. Despite providing proof of our attempts to contact them, they refused to issue a refund, claiming we didn’t show up. Viator was also unhelpful, even after we submitted evidence of our efforts to communicate and show that we were present. Overall, it felt like a scam
