From Playa to the Pink Paradise!!! - We departed from Playa del Carmen. However, the distance was relaxing for us, we enjoyed the ride. We were close to missing the bus but the staff was patient and helped us out. Once on board, the AC saved our day. Miguel rocks! he's the best guide. The Landscapes in Rio Lagartos and Las Coloradas are unreal. It's just incredible to get immersed in a completely different scenario, like stepping into a surreal painting. Totally worth the early wake up!

From Flamingos to Salt Masks. Yucatan Rules! - This tour was a total surprise in the best way! Las Coloradas doesn't look real at first, like pink water? But yep, it's legit and super photogenic. Our guide explained us that since this is a salt processing farm, each pond has a different salt density and different amounts of grown microorganisms which make the pink color of the water. So interesting! That's why not all the site is completely pink, however is so interesting! Rio Lagarto felt like stepping into a wild side of Yucatan with flamingos, crocodiles and that super salty mud that makes your skin feel brand new. It's a bit of a ride to get there, but totally worth every mile. Bring a towel and your camera, you'll use bot a lot.

Epic adventure with a caring crew! - This tour was epic! It made our dream come true! Our guide Miguel was so awesome we wanted to take him with us. Lol! Visiting these places with an expert like him made all the difference. The experience was one of its kind. Plus, it's great to see the staff genuinely cares about protecting the environment and the wildlife living there. Highly recommend!

They are really pink!!! - We absolutely loved this activity! Initially, we were skeptical about whether the pink water at Las Coloradas would match the stunning hues in photos, but seeing it in person proved it's genuinely vibrant and breathtking. The long drive get enjoyable because stops have something to add to the experience. Exploring the mangroves at Rio Lagartos by boat was incredible. Spotting flamingos, crocodiles, squirrels and other wildlife in their natural habitat was a highlight. We recommend Tourballoon widely! Special thanks to Carlos, our beloved "carnale" and guide!

Impressive nature interaction at Las Coloradas with "Mike"! - We are a family with kids, this excursion was fascinating for all of us! Despite the distance, we ended up pretty well satisfied with the service and on the top the marvelous interaction with nature. Be sure that if you're in Cancun or Rivera Maya, the best spots to visit are somehow distant, most of them are at the Yucatan. Ask for Miguel (Mike), he's the best guide!

Pink waters, wildlife and the perfect escape! - This tour was the bomb! It looked straight out of a dream. Santiago, lightened us with his knowledge. There are a lot of things to learn about the pink biosphere. We snapped a lot of amazing photos. Then we went to Rio Lagartos the peaceful boat ride through that wilderness and stunning landscapes is a hit. To top it off, we had a fantastic seafood lunch. It's a perfect mix of adventure, nature and great vibes. A must-do!

A great chance to visit a unique place! The pink lake of Las Coloradas! - We couldn't miss the chance to visit this magical place. We knew about it through documentaries and this was our time to experience it. In my opinion, given the distance and price, it is a great choice to know a unique spectacle in the world! Thanks to Jose, it is a great guide! 100% Recommended!

Stunning escape to Las Coloradas and Rio Lagartos!!! - This tour was a completely different side of Mexico! My BF and I were blown away by the pink lakes of Las Coloradas. Felt really surrealistic. The boat ride through Rio Lagartos was just as incredible, spotting flamingos and even crocodile lurking near the mangroves. Our guide, Carlos, made the trip even better with all his stories and fun facts. The clay mask was an unexpected treat and our skin felt amazing after. A day full of surprises and totally worth it!

Long trip - We’ve been to most of the attractions in the Cancun area so decided to take the long trip to Coloradas. The 3 attractions were great. But it was a long trip, made even longer because this operator took us from Cancun to Playa de Carmen before heading north. This added about 90 minutes to the trip each way. Overall our day was just under 15 hours and could have been 12 hours (for 5 hours at the attractions). Again, the attractions were great but you have to ready for a long ride and try to pick an operator that goes direct.

Tour Company needs to work on the tour quality - The place was nice and unique including the Rio Lagartos Biosfera. Yet the tour company need to work on the comfort of the passengers. The bus provided for the tour was extremely small and uncomfortable. The 3 hours drive one way was a torture. Furthermore, our guide took pictures if the group claiming it is a policy if the company. It felt really uncomfortable being photographed by a stranger. The tips were requested before the end of the tour and once it was done they didn't care. The bus stopped for refueling, the driver and the tour guide went out for a bathroom, coffee, leg stretching, no word given to the passengers that they can go out to use bathroom or stretch their legs before the long 3 hours return to Cancun. After 30 minutes when the passengers had enough and started leaving the bus the guide and the driver appeared and continued with the drive back to Cancun. Overall the destination is nice but the company needs to work on the quality of the tour.
