Las Coloradas & Rio Lagartos - Worth the Journey! - If you're planning this trip, be ready, it's a long one! But trust me, it's totally worth it. The scenery along the way and our guide Carlos, made the whole journey enjoyable. He was fantastic! Once you get to Las Coloradas and take the boat in Rio Lagartos, all the waiting and travel time pays off. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Huge thanks to the whole team, and if you go, definitely ask for "Carlos", he is the best!

A privileged gift of nature! - A privileged gift of nature. The destination definitely worth the time and distance! This is a unique spot in Mexico, maybe a few like this in the World. Great attention and organization. Peaceful and fun excursion. Thanks to Carlos, our charismatic guide who pampered us all the time.

An amazing way to meet nature! - This tour is really great! The best excursions are away from Cancun or Playa del Carmen, in Yucatan you find the best spots like this in Las Coloradas. It is amazing to know this is a salt processing factory. The boat ride was great, we saw animals we have never ever seen before in person. Food and drinks are good enough. Overall, long time trip but, recommended!

A Must-Do Adventure for Nature Lovers!!! - This tour was the highlight of our vacation! Each destination was full of natural beauty, and the boat ride through the mangroves was so much fun. I got to feed pelicans, hold baby crocodiles and even cover myself in mud. Lunch at the restaurant was a tasty and relaxing way to wrap up the experience. Armando our host, took care of everything with ease. Transportation was safely and comfortably. A special thanks to Anna, who ensured all our reservation and pickup details were perfectly handled. This is an unforgettable experience for anyone who loves nature!

A must, when visiting Cancun! - Yes, the Journey involves quite a bit of travel but that's expected when exploring another state from Cancun. We went prepared with comfortable clothes, layers and good shoes, so everything went smoothly. Visiting Las Coloradas was an amazing experience! Our guide Carlos made the trip feel personal and fun. Transportation, breakfast and lunch were included and there were plenty of moments to capture stunning photos of the pink lake and the wildlife. Special thanks to Ximena for her kind attention and making everything was well coordinated. This tour is a must for anyone visiting the area!

Picture-Perfect Pink Lakes with an IG-Worthy Twist! - Lovely trip! They totally know they're an Instagram hotspot, so they've embraced the whole vibe and set up these cute, super photogenic spots, which is just perfect for snapping those "must-have" IG shots. Plus, the fact that it's actually a working salt processing lake, makes it even more interesting. You get the beautiful scenery along with those extra little setups to make your photos really pop!

Mixed feelings - Very mixed feelings. The actual itinerary was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views, spectacular nature and seeing animals in their natural habitat - experience like no other. However, the organisation of the trip is very much lacking - the pick up spots are random, we waited in one place for 40 minutes with the people's carrier that was supposed to pick us up checking on us and deciding they were there for us driving away, only to come back 20 mins later (with other people in it, some of them for over an hour as the pick up places can be quite far from each other) to actually take us in - then we were all taken to an actual meeting point, where we waited among hords of other people going on different excursions, waiting for the right bus/van to turn up, guides to shout out names and eventually be loaded into the correct vehicle (still doubting you're boarding the right one to the very last minute). Pure chaos. Unfortunately, the vehicle we ended up in was ancient, was a people's carrier type of van, fully packed and with air con being placed only over some of the seat in a form of old fashioned vents. My partner and I got the seats at the back, which had less space (we are both tall) and with no air vent over us. The journey was a nightmare, stuffy, hot and uncomfortable, I hated every minute of it. On the drive back, both the driver and the guide decided to randomly stop close to the first drop off points and, without a word of explanation, left the van to take some frantic calls for at least 20 mins. They came back and again didn't say a word to anyone to explain what happened... We got home overheated and very very tired, but luckily the views and the animals, including crocodiles, made up for the discomfort of the journey.
