- SwimTogether Swimming Holidays - Madeira - My tours are designed to be a balanced combination of relaxation and adventure. I spend a great deal of time planning each of my swim routes, ensuring that I offer you a tailored experience that you will never forget.
On this particular day, we will meet at Lido Galomar Bathing Complex, in Caniço (Madeira Island). After arriving, you will meet me and fellow swimmers for a safety briefing and discussion about the swimming tour. If you are a beginner swimmer don’t worry, you will be safe.
We will then hold an acclimatization swim nearby and start our adventure towards the Garajau Natural Reserve. There you will have the opportunity to swim in very enjoyable clear waters. The view from here is unrivaled as the entire Bay of Garajau is laid out before us.
The tour will last 1 hour with time to warm up, meet up, and after our water session get a hot tea. I provide a swim buoy and if required I can provide a wetsuit rental (if the reservation is made a few days in advance). I will be swimming beside you all the time and giving you all the support you need. I’m sure you’ll love swimming with me!
We will swim back to the starting point, the Lido Galomar Bathing Complex.

Meet your tour guide at Lido Galomar Bathing Complex for a quick safety briefing and introduction. Next, enjoy a brief warm-up then jump into the sea for an acclimatization swim nearby before beginning your adventure along the coast.
Take in panoramic views of the Garajau Nature Reserve as you swim in the company of your guide. The guide will provide you with feedback throughout the tour and will take photos and videos that you can use to improve your technique. At the end of the tour, warm up with a hot mug of tea.
