Rest’s Nest Cave tour - We took the Rest’s Nest Cave tour today in Canmore, Alberta. It was the most difficult caving we’ve done so far. We spent 4 hours in the cave, used ropes and harnesses. I got the most scare experience by taking the Challenge Squeeze passage. I could not move any parts of my body but abdominal muscles and tips of hands. Even worse – once I passed it I had to go back the same way. My son Michael was brave enough to follow me and we didn’t get stuck there. Of course it's optional challange, but I higly recommend it for the most adrenaline rush :) Overall it was a perfect activity for people who like to get more active exploring natural wonders of Banff.

Wonderful and challenging experience - We were just the two of us with our guide Brant. He was just wonderful. Full of knowledge about caving and about the area and anything else we wanted to know. He showed so much patience when my wife was hesitant to go into the cave and the trip to the cave was awesome .

Do this! You will have an wonderful experience! - What a fantastic activity to do with our niece and nephew (11 and 14). The guide (Annie) was very informative and helpful in showing us how to move through the cave. I was a bit hesitant to go as I’m not a fan of small spaces BUT I’m so glad I did it! The spaces weren’t that small, the cave was magically quiet and just a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend this adventure!

Tiring but worth the experience. - Our tour guide John is amazing. He ensures everyone in the group will have fun and be safe. It is quite strenuous so be prepared for a steep hike (to the cave entrance) and rock climbing (in the cave). It is so cool and thrilling once inside (aka the "underworld"). My teenage son said this was the best part of our trip to Banff. My favorite part was when we had a brief moment to turn off our headlights and feel that complete darkness inside the cave.

Amazing Experience - I took my 13 year old daughter, and we had an amazing time. It ended up being just her and I and our tour guide. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and fun. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure, and looking to try something different.

Fun! Worth it. - We learned lots about caves. John was awesome as a guide. Definitely recommend wearing warm clothing in the cave. We rented a go pro camera so we didn't have to bring our phones into the cave. Bring good hiking shoes.
