Our guide, Alexandria, exuded warmth and energy, making us feel like part of the BACARDÍ family. Her knowledge and passion for mixology were evident as she led us through the facility. Although the factory was closed for tours on Sundays, Alexandria’s engaging storytelling brought the history of BACARDÍ to life. We learned about the origins of some of the world’s most iconic cocktails and the art of mixology. The class was both informative and entertaining, as we crafted two different cocktails under Alexandria’s expert guidance. Each sip was a testament to the rich history and craftsmanship that BACARDÍ embodies.

For those planning to visit, I recommend checking the factory’s schedule to ensure it’s open for a full experience. If you’re using Uber, be specific about your destination to avoid any confusion, as our driver initially tried to drop us off at the wrong location. The experience at Casa BACARDÍ is a must-do for anyone visiting Puerto Rico, offering a perfect blend of history, culture, and, of course, delicious cocktails.
