Outstanding Tour - I have just returned from a 10 day tour of Northern Thailand with a group of friends and have only the best things to say about Big Bike Tours. From the point of booking the communication was excellent, information was clear and detailed. On arrival my pickup from Chiang Mai airport was with Noah was seamless and a great introduction to the level of service offered by the company. My chosen bike, a Versys 650 was only two months old and was perfect for the roads and terrain over the next 10 days. On our first day we were introduced to our guide Pong who from minute one was outstanding. Not only an excellent rider and communicator, but a genuinely nice guy who looked after us superbly, can't praise him highly enough. Our routes, hotels, restaurants were all fantastic and our support driver Tom with the luggage van was always on hand offering a beer or checking the tyres and oiling chains. A thoroughly professional operation and would recommend this company and tour to anyone.

A brilliant tour with an excellent company - I cannot speak highly enough about this tour and company. Everything is sorted for you. From the pick up at the airport,delivery of the bikes, to the tour itself. The choice of stops is perfect. The quality of the hotels is excellent and the restaurants you have your lunches and evening meals are superb. We had the absolute pleasure of having Pong as our guide and I can say he was an amazing young man. We met a few of the other guides and they are all lovely people. We are already looking at our diaries again for another trip and I can say for certain we will be booking with this same company. If I can give one piece of advice is to try and encourage your friends to join you. We had a group of 10 and it worked excellently.

Thailand was truly amazing - A group of 10 traveled from ireland. Big bike tours looked after us from the moment we landed in Chang mai until we departed. The service we received is undoubtedly the best I’ve ever had. Everything from the bikes to hotels was second to none. Special praise has to go to our guide Pong. This man took care of us from morning to night nothing was too much trouble and any request was met with a smile on his face. 100% we will be back in Thailand to go on another trip with Big bike tours!!!!

Life changing - I had been looking at this trip for at least 2 years and got sick and tired of mates making excuses why they couldn’t come, so I booked and did it as a solo traveller. I had the most amazing time and my crew were amazing! When they say that everything is looked after they really mean it. It was effortless. Arriving in Chiang Mai about a day after the floods peaked and the business was under water things did not look great, but thai people have a can-do attitude and we commenced in what was drizzling conditions. Well that lasted about 15mins and then the rest of the trip was dry with the exception of a 5 min sprinkle on about day 7. I couldn’t recommend these guys any higher. Kay, Noah, Koopi, Chi & Pong were all amazing. Make no mistakes Thailand can be a dangerous place for traffic crashes but not once did I feel unsafe. Safety is their number one priority and sure mishaps can occur, if they ever did, I would be happy in their hands. This trip was life changing and is without doubt the best thing I have done in my life. I am so glad I pulled the trigger and came over.

Tours that are a holiday - Imagine What heaven is then multiply by ten 60% fresh hotmix surface S22 Bridgestones Endless fuel A CB 650 R Perfect bike for endless corners just flick and stick Nice motels with cold beer Aircon in your room turned on Food Thailand puts all countries to shame with service and food quality I can now use chopsticks and put chilli one my breakfast, converted yes. Koppi our lead rider would ring ahead and food was waiting when we arrived ArroyThai for delicious. Bikes are maintained every day and checked safety fast Tips bring modular helmet so you can flip up at traffic lights or fuel stops is handy vented jacket is a must Vented pants cotton socks and short boots warm to hot but if you dress appropriately the more you enjoy you riding A camelback is good for extra water not needed as cold water and Thai Sponsor (electrolytes)worked well and available in the chaser truck to make it through the afternoon the truck Carrie’s your bag s and any shopping on the way and drops it at the motel for you If you want to give your passport a new stamp and somewhere you work boots can’t find you and Jane and I spent only 2000 baht in 10days and wanted for nothing Bring an open mind and embrace Thailand because it will embrace you Thanks to Kay for loaning his personal bike for me to do the trip due to bikes being flooded and unable to move due to high water Name a tour company that does that Cheers and many thanks to BBT See you again for another trip one day soon Charlie

If you have been considering- just do it. - Great organisation, accomodation, food, schedule, care, needed nothing, bikes maintained. Lead rider (Kop) and Sweep in 4WD (Chi) fantastic. Pick up from airport Noah with thanks, briefing with Kay evening before. Rode a new Triumph Speed 400 - fantastic and ideal. Arrived at peak of flood, team arranged other accomodation and were outstanding, did everything to keep tour on schedule as planned. Would recommend without hesitation and had a great time with riding companions. Jane, NSW Aust.

Great tour with country and people - Great tour, you get to know the country and its people really well. Great curves, cool group, great guide both as a motorcyclist and in conveying Thai customs. I'd do it again anytime!

Roads you crave to ride on a Motorcycle. BBT takes you on them. - Overhaul a very enjoyable trip. Fantastic roads, v good hotels & Great food. A map of the whole route would be beneficial and some days were v tiring riding over 380 km & not arriving at hotel till 17.30 - 18.00! I would advise you MUST be a competent rider & love bends. Saw some amazing sites, Noha our guide was v knowledgeable & took us to some nice restaurants. I will return for another trip.

Beware of hidden costs!!! - I did the 10 day Amazing Thailand tour in November 2023. Prior to commencing the trip I signed the tour contract which stated that riders are liable for the first 30,000 THB of any accident claim. Unfortunately I had an accident half way through the tour, and at the end of the tour I was presented with an invoice for 42,265 THB (£1002.36) comprising the 30,000 THB I was expecting to pay, plus an extra 12,265 THB for recovery of bike AND LABOUR COSTS! These extra costs are not mentioned in the tour contract! Big Bike Tours acted in an unprofessional and dishonest manner by adding these hidden charges, and for that reason alone I would never book another tour with them. However, apart from the hidden charges detailed above the tour was quite enjoyable. The motorcycles were generally in good condition, but one bike did fail to start half way through day one, but was fixed within an hour by tour staff. The tour pace was acceptable for the majority of riders, but two less experienced riders in our group found it too fast and left the tour after the first day's riding. The hotels were very good, but two hotels named on the itinerary were substituted for inferior hotels (one without a pool) at short notice. The tourist attractions visited were interesting, but some attractions detailed on the itinerary were omitted for no good reason. The tour staff and guides were friendly and helpful, especially Phong who came to the hospital with me to act as translator following my accident, and the cost of medical treatment was covered by Big Bike Tours own insurance. The food was of a good standard throughout, and the weather was excellent.
