Another Great Native Charleston Tour! - We had a wonderful time! This is our third tour with Gia (all different) and once again, she delivers a fun, educational, professional tour. We started at a restaurant with great environment that allowed Gia to speak with us and provide stories of women who made historical impacts on Charleston. We then went on the "walking" portion of the tour where Gia pointed out the different locations, historical markers, and architectural markings showing where these women of "herstory" made their impacts. And, guys, you'll enjoy it also. It wasn't a "male vs female" educational tour. Just historical facts and stories of Charleston that just happened to involve specific women, despite the laws that limited women's abilities to impact the beautiful city of Charleston that they loved.

Learned a lot! - My friend and I loved this tour. We were glad to learn about women in Charleston and their herstory. On this tour you'll get to hear stories that you won't hear on any other tour! Our guide was interactive and knowledgeable. I didn't entirely read the description before buying so don't make my mistake: this tour isn't about wine and the alcohol isn't included (you can buy whatever drink you want-alcoholic or not- from the two stops that offer drinks)... BUT it is a great tour no matter what your choice of beverage!

Very enjoyable tour with excellent guide - This was a great tour for an affordable price, Gia, our guide, was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about her topic. She was interesting and full of stories to share. The tour started at Well Hung winery. Wine was excellent and the pours generous. From there we started our walk where Gia strolled at a leisurely pace and stopped often to share information. The tour concluded at Blind Tiger . I would recommend the Women and Wine tour to anyone looking for a walk around the city, good wine and a nice way to spend a couple of hours. BTW.. my friends husband was with us and he enjoyed the tour as well.
