- Rainbow Bridge - The Rainbow Bridge is a suspension bridge that connects the Shibaura area in Minato district to the Daiba area (Daiba, Minato district, and Ariake, Koto district) in Tokyo. Construction began in 1987, was completed in 1993, and it was opened on August 26 of the same year.
It is a two-tiered structure with a total length of approximately 800 meters, featuring the Metropolitan Expressway No. 11 Daiba Line on the upper level, the new Yurikamome transport system in the center of the lower level, and general roads and sidewalks on both sides.
- Daikoku Parking Area - The Daikoku Parking Area, located in Daikokufuto, is renowned as one of the world’s most famous car meet-up spots. It has gained significant local attention for its rich history, but its international recognition comes from social media and passionate projects that have gone viral over the years.
- Rainbow Bridge - The illumination of the Rainbow Bridge was designed with careful consideration of the city’s aesthetic perspective, aiming to make the city safer and extend the time and space for living, to become the “face” of the future-oriented waterfront area. “Electrode-less lamps” are used for the lighting, known for their long lifespan, reduced energy consumption, and high intensity. Additionally, it became the world’s first bridge to feature tricolor lighting. The contrast between a main tower illuminated in white and cable lighting that changes over time beautifully colors Tokyo’s harbor at night.
- Tokyo Tower - Standing at 333 meters, it is the second tallest man-made structure in Japan. This construction was inspired by the Eiffel Tower with a lattice structure, painted white and orange to comply with air safety regulations. Erected in 1958, the tower is a major source of Tokyo’s tourism revenue. Over 160 million people have visited the site since its opening.
- Shibuya Crossing - In the Shibuya district of Tokyo, known for its pedestrian crossings, one of which diagonally crosses the center of the intersection itself. It is located in front of the Hachikō exit of Shibuya Station and completely halts vehicle traffic for 55 seconds to allow pedestrians to cross safely. The statue of the dog Hachikō, situated between the station and the crossing, is a popular and often crowded meeting point.
