Using pioneering and innovative display techniques, with an emphasis on creating a natural environment and an up-close and personal interactive experience, Willowbank showcases one of New Zealand’s best displays of native species. Willowbank was the first to open a glass-free nocturnal house for kiwi in a natural environment, guaranteeing viewings every time. - Cardboard Cathedral - The Cardboard Cathedral, formally called the Transitional Cathedral, in Christchurch, New Zealand, is the transitional pro-cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Christchurch, replacing ChristChurch Cathedral, which was significantly damaged in the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. The Cardboard Cathedral was designed by the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban and opened in August 2013. It is located on the site of the former St John the Baptist Church on the corner of Hereford and Madras Streets in Latimer Square, several blocks from the permanent location of ChristChurch Cathedral. - Christchurch Botanic Gardens - Christchurch, coined the Garden City, is an Anglophile settlement of well-tended gardens and tree-lined streets. Its crowning jewel is the 52-acre (21-hectare) Christchurch Botanic Gardens, attractively set within Hagley Park alongside the winding Avon River, The gardens are planted with thousands of exotic and indigenous plants and trees including seasonal blooms such as magnolias, azaleas, and 250 varieties of roses.

A must do in Christchurch - I was lucky to have Justin as my tour guide! He was so kind and attentive both to my physical comfort and my specific tour requests. I learnt such a wide array of informational tid bits!
Being in the travel industry myself, I definitely recognize good customer service! The photo album that was sent to me post tour, was such a fun rendition of my experience!
My solo travel in a plush car, and a flexible schedule catered to my needs, with a safe friendly driver guide and relevant information shared, was top notch!

Fantastic Tour with Friendly and Helpful Guides - I was delighted with the tour! The guide and tour operator were incredibly helpful and approachable, always finding a way to accommodate requests. Every stop was truly worth it.

Breathtaking views and garden. - WOW!!!
Full views of the city and snow capped mountains. Rare sight of a Kiwi and other natural native wildlife. Capped by the roses garden.
Guide knowledgeable, explanation of sights throughout and accompanied us.

Hire an Uber driver instead - We were disappointed w our “guide” who was not informative. Could have gotten just as much from an Uber driver.
