• Cabo Girão - Following the visit to Câmara de Lobos, the next destination is the world’s second-highest sea cliff and Europe’s tallest (580m) – (1775 ft). Here, one can enjoy stunning views of Câmara de Lobos and Funchal.
• Ribeira Brava Beach - The journey continues to Ribeira Brava, a town that mirrors the character of the stream from which it derives its name. Ribeira (river) Brava (wild). The main attraction is the mother church, built in the 16th century and modified over time. It features a Flemish artwork and a valuable Manueline-style baptismal font. Along the sea promenade, the fort of São Bento stands as a town landmark, where visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee.
• Ponta Do Sol - Next, head to Ponta Do Sol, one of the sunniest spots on the island, featuring a charming village nestled in the steep valley folds, surrounded by dense banana plants.
• Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools - Traveling along a zigzag road leads to Porto Moniz, renowned for its stunning natural pools. The promenade, extending from the natural pools to the pier, offers delightful restaurants where visitors can savor local seafood or other delicious regional dishes.
• Miradouro do Véu da Noiva - After departing Porto Moniz, the journey continues to Bride’s Veil, traveling along the famous north coast route. Alongside a small group, the drive passes through Seixal, a picturesque village. Its breathtaking coastline is dominated by mountains, where a stop is made to view one of Madeira’s renowned waterfalls, Bride’s Veil.
• São Vicente - The journey proceeds to São Vicente, a charming town with narrow, picturesque streets and pristine white old houses. The mother church dates back to the 17th century.
• Serra de Água - As the tour nears its conclusion, the route passes through Serra de Água, one of the region’s most breathtaking mountain landscapes, offering views of Madeira’s majestic mountain peaks.
• Vereda do Fanal - Ascending to Madeira’s mountain plateau, the Fanal forest is discovered. Fanal Forest is a magical place on the island, often shrouded in mysterious fog among the 600-year-old trees with their twisted branches. Entering this extraordinary landscape, surrounded by a mystical mist, creates a unique atmosphere. Once at Fanal, weather permitting, there is an optional 15-minute walk in the Laurel tree forest.
