You have to use this tour company! - Miguel was an amazing guide; extremely knowledgeable, patient, flexible, and fun. He commands a wealth of knowledge, equally comfortable discussing historical figures as he was discussing local cuisine. He was always prompt, always attentive and allowed us to tailor a portion of our tour. He had a stable of comfortable to luxurious vehicles that were well maintained and air conditioned adding to an amazing experience. We visited Lisboa, Sintra, Cascais, Nazare, Coimbra, Porto, and wine country along the Duro River. We could not have had a more fun and fulfilling adventure thanks to Miguel.

Excellent service, professional, educated, clean and higher end vehicles for transport. 5/5 - Miguel is fantastic. Educated, professional, warm and a pleasure to spend time with. We had the pleasure of private transport and tours for 5 days. We are not typically tour type travelers but this experience was customized to our preferences. We had the privilege of experiencing Portugal through a local’s lens. Miguel shared his personal mom and pop favorites with us and gave us tips for the time we had on our own. We plan to visit again and will definitely book with I GO Portugal again and request Miguel.

Amazing trip from Lisbon to Porto - Amazing trip with Carlos Silva who tailor-made the day trip for us. We learned so much about Portugal from him! First he drove us to Obidos and took us to a wonderful bakery, and a shop that served Ginjinha da porta. Then we went to Coimbra. We were going to have to skip the Library because we didn't have tickets and they were sold out. He was able to arrange some at the last minute (Don't plan on this service, get your tickets in advance!). In Coimbra we had a great lunch in an out-of-the way family-run restaurant where we had outstanding cozido sandwiches. On to Aveiro, where he took us out of the way so we could get a photo of the striped houses. Finally, we arrived at our hotel in Porto, tired but elated. Carlos also gave us suggestions for restaurants in Porto. What we thought was going to be a good way to get from Lisbon to Porto turned into one of the highlights of our trip!

Highly recommend Carlos for a fun and educational day trip! - Carlos created a wonderful, day-long experience for us, stopping in two cities along the way to Porto. He was so knowledgeable about history and culture that we learned a huge amount while having a good time. Carlos was also prompt, professional, and a great driver.

Porto , I GO PORTUGAL is the guide to discover the Cradle of Porto wine - This trip to Porto was the trip of the lifetime . Miguel was very knowledgeable on the history of Portugal and the history of the city. I will never forget the culture , the architecture , the buildings of the city , The history lecture delivered by Miguel was interesting and engaging. The visit to the library from Harry Potter book was a turning point as my son has read all the books and is very fond of the saga. Porto wine tasting was another very interesting visit and the unique breathtaking views of the city are worth coming here, Thanks Miguel and IGO PORTUGAL for the extraordinary experience!

Will Never Book with Anyone Else - Huge delay in this review for our May 2022 booking, but would be a disservice not to share my 10/10 experience with Pedro, Miguel and team! I booked Pedro for airport transfer for my parents and siblings plus a private transfer from Lisbon to Porto with a stop in Sintra and quick lunch en route. Pedro had my family picked up and at the vacation rental in no time, despite some flight issues and changes. For our transfer and tour, we had the pleasure of spending the day with Miguel. He was the most knowledgeable guide we could have asked for and more, plus arrived right at our front door exactly at the agreed upon time. He was incredibly accommodating to our needs and showed extreme patience with our questions, detours, etc; he even insisted on waiting in the Sintra ticket line for us so we could wander the grounds awhile. He was literally a fountain of information on everything from the details of the Portuguese royal family tree to the best dessert spots on the way to Porto! Lastly, we were scheduled with IGO for a return booking from Porto back to Lisbon, however my family unfortunately contracted COVID and into quarantine we went. Not only was Pedro understanding and accommodating in canceling our trip, he went as far as offering to help us navigate the situation. After several previous visits to Portugal and several more in my future, I will simply never book with anyone else! A very belated thank you to Pedro and Miguel for everything!

Lisbon to Porto transfer with a great guide - If you are going from Lisbon to Porto there is no other way to go. Out driver -guide , Miguel, picked us up right on time on a new Audi SUV, super comfortable. Miguel is so courteous, professional, passionate about his country and getting the correct information across. He is a walking encyclopedia. Our lives have been ruined… there is no guide as knowledgeable and that has made us feel at ease from the start as he. Nothing has measured up. IGO is a family business and Miguel conveyed that feeling during our ride and at the end of our trip he felt like a friend. I definitely recommend the company and wish we had done our complete trip with them

IGO, the only way to go for a private tour guide - Wow! What an experience! IGO's, Sonia Oliveira, made this trip an amazing experience. She is very knowledgeable and was accommodating to our needs as tourist! We saw breathtaking views, tasted delicious authentic Portuguese cuisines and felt the cool breeze of an evening sail! You name it, we were there...visiting places one could only dream of! Thank you Sonia for making us feel at home! This tour company is definitely our first go-to when we return!
