Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project - The Sea Turtle Farm and Hatchery is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the survival of sea turtles for future generations. Located in Habaraduwa near a stunning beach, just 5m from the Galle - Matara main road, the center was established in 1986 and has released over 500,000 sea turtles into the ocean.

- Madu River Safari - Situated in the Southern region of Sri Lanka is the Galle district. Balapitiya, a small town in the district, gains significance due to the presence of a river. Galle Fort Lighthouse - Located within the iconic Galle Fort, the Galle Lighthouse stands seven meters above the road on the ramparts. As Sri Lanka’s oldest light station, dating back to 1848, the original lighthouse was destroyed by fire in 1934 and rebuilt to its current height of 26m. Galle has long been a major harbor, attracting ships and traders from around the world for millennia. Consequently, it fell under the influence of Dutch traders who prioritized profit above all else.

Galle Fort Clock Tower - The Galle Clock Tower is a four-story stone monument from the late 19th century. Built within the ramparts of the Galle Fort on the site of the former guardroom, it overlooks one of the fort’s three bastions. While the historic clock tower is a fantastic subject for photography, capturing it requires skillful maneuvering due to the steep angle nearby. Therefore, it might be better to photograph it from the Moon Bastion, which the tower faces. (Combines with Galle Fort)

Dutch Reformed Church - Originally constructed in 1640, the current building dates back to 1752.
