Sigiriya or Sinhagiri (Lion Rock Sinhala: සීගිරිය, pronounced see-gi-ri-yə) is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is a site of historical and archaeological significance, dominated by a massive column of rock approximately 180 m (590 ft) high.

Minneriya National Park - Minneriya National Park is a national park in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The area was designated as a national park on 12 August 1997, having originally been declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1938. The reason for declaring the area as protected is to safeguard the catchment of Minneriya Tank and the wildlife of the surrounding area. The tank is of historical importance, having been built by King Mahasen in the third century AD. The park is a dry season feeding ground for the elephant population dwelling in the forests of Matale, Polonnaruwa, and Trincomalee districts. The park earned revenue of Rs. 10.7 million in the six months ending in August 2009. Along with Kaudulla and Girithale, Minneriya forms one of the 70 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) of Sri Lanka. The park is situated 182 kilometers (113 mi) from Colombo.

Dambulla Cave Temple - Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings, and four statues of gods and goddesses. The latter include Vishnu and Ganesha. The murals cover an area of 2,100 square meters (23,000 sq ft). Depictions on the walls of the caves include the temptation by the demon Mara and Buddha’s first sermon.

The prefix “Muthu” literally means “pearl”. “Mari” means rain and “Amman” means mother in Tamil language. The temple is dedicated to Mariamman, the goddess of rain and fertility.

Royal Botanical Gardens - Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya, are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. In 2016, the garden was visited by 1.2 million locals and 400,000 foreign visitors. It is near the Mahaweli River and is renowned for its collection of orchids.
Natural Gems and Gemmological Museum - All visitors to our exclusive geological and gemological museum are invariably given comprehensive knowledge on how Sri Lanka was formed 4.6 billion years ago, encompassing the wonderful minerals and gemstones that outshine those in other parts of the world. The knowledge includes the genesis and deposits of gemstones after they are washed off to the places where the bottoms of gem pits lead to. Adventure LK White Water Rafting Kitulgala - Known for adventure sports, Kitulgala is a town located west of the road from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. It’s a town situated amid thickly forested hills. It was once a filming location for David Lean’s 1957 Oscar-winning epic “Bridge on the River Kwai” on the banks of the Kelani River. Most visitors for adventure sports come from Colombo. Kitulgala’s main attraction is white water rafting, where you can ride the tides of the Kelani River. Other popular activities include confidence jumps, stream sliding, waterfall abseiling, jungle trekking, bird watching, cave exploration, and river trips and expeditions.
