breathtaking - gorgeous hike with the most blue water.
saw lots of wildlife too! easy path, you won’t get lost. tell the parking scammers to take a hike lol.

A great tour with an outstanding guide. - This ended up being a private tour and Verny, our tour guide and driver, was very accommodating and catered to what we wanted to see and do. He went above and beyond our expectations. His local touring company, on the road costa rica touring company, has a great tour guide. Verny was very knowledgeable of everything Costa Rica and was prepared for any situation, small or large. I highly recommend this tour, especially if Verny is the tour guide.

All your sloth/frog dreams come true - We had such a great time!!! The ride was long but worth it! The rainforest was great it was raining but so cool to see! Seeing a baby sloth and frogs we re the highlight! Our guides were amazing and so nice thanks hermon and Juan for a great experience!

Amazing Costa Rica jungle day - A wonderful day spent among the jungle, waterfalls and wildlife. Our tour guide Verny was super friendly and a plethora of information about Costa Rica and its history. He paid attention to all our needs and was constantly asking us if we were doing great. He was an amazing guide finding wildlife in places we had no idea they were! He also took amazing photos for us to take home as memories. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great day in Costa Rica! - Our guide Hernan S and driver Alan were OUTSTANDING. Our guide Hania at the wildlife preserve was amazing as well. Hernan was very knowledgeable about the history, environment and flora/fauna of the region. Moderate hike. Beautiful waterfall. Wildlife abundant and pictures of a lifetime. Lunch was delicious and the butterfly garden was a lovely surprise and really well done. They will pick you up at your location, which was very helpful. Great day. Highly recommend.

Fantastic tour with an outstanding guide - This was an absolutely fantastic tour. Verny was our guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and I think he may be close friends with every person in Costa Rica. He explained about various flora and fauna and really made sure we had a fantastic time.
The walk to the waterfall was nice, and the waterfall was beautiful. The route was a little busy, but that’s expected. We learned about walking palms and the root systems of rainforest trees.
We had a great lunch and Verny showed us the secret pickled salsa and how it made the food even better. We had fresh fruit juice and tamarind juice and both were delicious.
When we finished eating we walked through the butterfly gardens and the nice girl explained all about the lifecycle of the butterflies. We even got to see a cocoon wiggling with a butterfly growing inside.
We got amazing pictures of red-eyed tree frogs, poison dart frogs and eyelash pit viper snakes of many colors. We saw lots of sloths but none were close enough for Verny. He was messaging people he knew and took us to a place where we were literally a foot away from a sleeping sloth. It made my wife so happy.
This was a great tour with a good company. Anthony was great communicating and booking the tour for us. Verny was the star though and made it an outstanding experience.

A day in paradise! - Our tour of Llanos de Cortéz Waterfall + Rio Celeste Hike and Waterfall + Wildlife Sanctuary was amazing!!!! We saw two beautiful waterfalls, lots of animals/creatures and had a delicious lunch!! Verny was an absolutely awesome guide. He was so knowledgeable about the rain forest, the animals, Costa Rica and more. He was always listening and looking for animals and found many we would have never seen ourselves. He was kind, always concerned for our safety, and treated us like royalty. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and would go again if I’m ever in the area.

Sloths, waterfalls, and more - We had a wonderful time on our trip with Verny. He went above and beyond to meet every request we had. From the moment he picked us up, he was a wealth of knowledge about his country and has a real passion sharing his country with his guests. I highly recommend.

Wonderful waterfall/ hike and rainforest experience - This was a great trip to see a LOT in one day. Verny was a great guide- he did everything with excellence. The waterfall is worth the hike and the animals exceeded our expectations. The lunch was delicious as well.

Not to be missed - We’re so happy we went on this tour. Our driver Hernan was kind and very accommodating. He had a broad knowledge of the area and was able to provide lots of interesting information and answer our questions well. The hike through the rainforest to the gorgeous waterfall was interesting and we saw some snakes. It was slightly crowded but fortunately we got there before more crowds started arriving. Saw many more animals at the sloth sanctuary: sloths, frogs, snakes, toucans and other birds and insects. Our guide was adept at pointing out creatures, and even took photos for us through her binoculars. Butterfly farm was also great, lots of varieties and colors. A long but wonderful day!
