Quick day trip to Belfast: Past, Present and Future - The driver Thomas was very entertaining and had excellent driving even with tough weather. The black taxi tour is worth it for those looking to learn the past and present social and political conditions of the area. The Titanic experience is 10/10 a must visit again with more hours to spare, perfect for all ages: children, adults, seniors will immerse in wonderful modern settings that bring the past to life.

Great experience - The driver Gordon was amazing. Very friendly and informative. I think I enjoyed chatting with him more than I enjoyed the Titanic experience which was also very good. Adequate stops to stretch your legs even though most were petro stations. Food at petro stations here is MUCH better than in the USA

Don’t miss the Titanic Museum - I couldn’t find the Titanic Museum by itself, but I am reviewing just that. It’s a terrific museum, built to resemble the hill of a ship. You start at the top floor and walk your way down. The Titanic was built in Belfast, which at the time was a big shipbuilding town. The fateful crossing maiden crossing launched in Southampton. There’s interesting history about the industries thriving in Belfast at the start on the 19th century. The museum has some cool exhibits….there’s a gondola that goes thru the shipyard, and it brings you into the bowels of the ship, simulating what it would be like to be a worker. Another exhibit shows the different floors aboard the ship….I felt dizzy but it was really cool. Allocate plenty of time…it’s a depressing but fun experience.

Worth every penny - The bus ride was clean and comfortable. Titanic experience was fabulous. So many details that were new to me. Highly recommend visiting. We then decided to take the black taxi tour. I have vivid memories of the uprising between the two factions. I found this tour to be very informative and learned so much about the history of both sides.

Belfast - This is really a great day trip. The bus is nice, comfortable. Just enough stops. Engaging tour guide. Good to get out into the countryside from Dublin. Really great to see Belfast. The only thing I'd say is it would've been nice to get a bit more time in Belfast but it was still very nice. Don't dismiss the Titanic museum. That was not just a throw in. Very good day trip.

Take the train - We did this tour in May. We did another tour with Paddywagon that was great. This was not. I booked this tour instead of the train because it was cheaper for that day and for the stop at the Monasterboice. The driver on this tour was grumpy from the start. I feel we could have skipped the Monasterboice stop. Some people got the famous black cabs but we got a black van. The tour of Belfast by the taxi driver was amazing. Make sure you have the exact change in their currency before you go, or they tell you the price is 20 pounds per person when they drop you off right by a cash machine to pay them. The Titanic experience was not long enough. If take the train, I think you can do all these things longer on your own time. Our bus motor was overheating, which was not the bus driver's fault. However, the driver could have communicated this to us earlier so we were not wondering for quite awhile why we were driving all over the countryside on back roads!

A shame, terrible customer experience! - The tour driver was pretty nice! However, a very bad issue occurred at the beginning of the day. I had invited a friend to join us. She was very happy, rescheduled her day off from work, and bought her ticket on the evening before our tour. Suddenly, on the morning of the tour, the driver informed us that due to a mistake, the website had allowed her to buy a ticket, but there were no available seats for her on the van. The refund didn't happen right away, and she had to wait. Well, I'll never recommend Paddywagon to any other friend again, as the way you managed your mistake was too insignificant to consider customer experience. In my opinion, the minimum you could have done in this situation was to refund her and allow her to travel for free on another date for any of your tours, as a way to compensate her for your mistake. Giving her money back is not enough, in my opinion. Consider that she planned ahead, asked for a day off from work, found a colleague to cover for her, and prepared to arrive at the tour location. It was a shame for Paddywagon.
