The 2-hour drive to Mollepata, with its captivating landscapes, offers a moment of tranquility as you pay entrance fees and take a brief respite. Continue to Soraypampa, where the trail to Humantay Lagoon awaits. The 1.5-hour hike, with an optional horseback ride, leads you to the pristine, turquoise waters of the lagoon. Arriving after the morning crowds have departed, you’ll find serenity and splendor, embracing the stillness of nature. The descent takes an hour, followed by a 1.5-hour drive to a local restaurant for a delightful lunch. Conclude your adventure with a 2-hour drive back to Cusco, where you’ll be comfortably dropped off at your hotel, carrying with you the enchanting memories of Humantay Lagoon.
