- Crazy Horse Memorial - Following an engaging 20-minute movie, gain a deeper understanding of Crazy Horse. After the film, explore large rooms filled with Native American exhibits (14,000 in total). There will be time to explore independently afterward.
- Wildlife Loop Road - It’s time to observe wildlife such as buffalo, deer, antelope, and more. Spring is the calving season for buffalo, and you may see numerous little red calves. Travel along the road, stopping to photograph the Beggin’ Burros and enjoy the scenic loop.
- Custer State Park - Make a brief stop at the State Game Lodge to learn about its century-old history. It once served as the Summer White House for Presidents Coolidge and Eisenhower and hosted many other notable visitors.
- Custer State Park Visitor Center - The Visitor Center highlights the iconic prairie species, the bison. Take a break in the 100-seat theater to watch a 20-minute movie, narrated by Kevin Costner, which plays every half hour. The museum offers excellent hands-on displays and information.

The tour includes a visit to Mt Rushmore, featuring the Presidential Trail, Avenue of Flags, an informative movie about its history, and a museum.
The Crazy Horse Monument, the largest mountain carving in the world, showcases 14,000 pieces of Native American artwork.
At Custer State Park, the tour follows the Wildlife Loop, with stops to observe wild burros, elk, deer, antelope, and bison/buffalo. Buffalo calving season starts in March, so you might spot ‘Little Red Devils’ frolicking around. Custer Park also features Iron Mountain Road with its unique pigtail bridges and one-way tunnels.
