The Sri Lankan leopard is a subspecies native to Sri Lanka. YALA is home to around a hundred individual leopards.
We aim to be in YALA National Park during the first two hours of the day (6 to 8 a.m.) and the last two hours of the day (4 to 6 p.m.). Wildlife enthusiasts refer to these times as the “Golden Hours,” offering the highest chance of spotting the elusive Sri Lankan leopards. On a Full-Day safari, you will be in YALA during both these times, observing the wild.
We will also provide opportunities to witness Sloth Bears, Elephants, Crocodiles, Monkeys, Spotted Deer, Mongoose, Birds, and a plethora of other mesmerizing species. With every moment promising an unforgettable encounter, YALA offers a sanctuary where the extraordinary becomes the norm.

NOTE - As an authorized company to offer safari services in YALA National Park, all our 4X4 vehicles have the necessary approvals, and all our drivers hold special licenses issued by the Department of Wildlife Conservation in Sri Lanka to operate as safari drivers in YALA National Park.

- A minimum of 2 people is needed for a booking.
- You must pay the fees at the entrance in cash in Sri Lankan Rupees (Rs. 11,000/- , approx. $35 per person) or through a credit card. (There is no facility at present at the YALA National Park entrance to make cash payments in foreign currencies)
