Vietnamese cooking class - I was the only one at the cooking class today. So rather than going to the Ben Thanh market,Thao took me to the local market in District 5. Much better than the Ben Thanh Market.
After buying ingredients from the local market we went to the cooking class.
We made a chicken curry, vegetables noodles with catfish, spring rolls a desert. Had Vietnamese coffee.
It was a great day and a valuable experience.

The host was amazing and... - The host was amazing and took her time to show us the market and introduced us to many new vegetables and fruits and explained how they were used in different dishes. Then we took a short scooter ride to an amazing outdoor kitchen where we cooked 3 traditional dishes and desert. Everything was top notch and the overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Great fun cooking class! - Thao picked us up at our hotel near the Ven Thanh market by motorbike.
The cooking venue is in a garden. Thao was great, full of stories and explanations. And an ever lasting smile. Everyone of us prepared each dish. We had beef salad, caramel chicken, fishsoup and banana dessert. Far far too much to eat it all, although it was delicious. Even as an experienced amateur cook, I learned some new techniques. The workshop was well prepared. Highly recommended! Thanks Thao!
At the end we got some gifts. To return to the hotel we had to take a Grab (or 54 minute walk).

Picked up from Ben Thanh market, cooked in a secluded nature kitchen and ate our dishes. - Very fun class, teacher was super energetic and funny. Got to make 4 different traditional Vietnamese dishes that were delicious and pretty healthy. When I got car sick on the way to the cooking destination, our tour guide walked with me the rest of the way, and the kitchen staff had prepared some ginger tea for me by the time I arrived.

Highly Recommend! - It was so dope! She is super knowledgeable and kind. The kitchen area is nice too! Being in a garden when there's so much traffic and noise beyond the walls was really nice! Not noisy at all! It was like being in a garden in the middle of the city like a getaway.

"A Memorable Culinary Experience with Seamless Logistics" - The Vietnam Flavour Cooking Class in Ho Chi Minh City exceeded our expectations. We learned valuable techniques and discovered unique dishes that added a new dimension to our understanding of Vietnamese cuisine. Chef Thao was knowledgeable and made the class both informative and enjoyable. Most of the dishes used readily available ingredients which was a huge plus, making us eager to recreate these delicious dishes back home. A must-try for any food enthusiast visiting Ho Chi Minh City!
Also the communication with the cooking school's office was excellent. They were very helpful in guiding us in the transportation and booking process, making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free.

Fun cooking Class!! - Fun and easy to learn.
chef had Patience to teach about the inheritance and timing and all eles between.
I feel more confident about cooking the dishes on my own after taking this class

Best cooking class in town !! - We arrived in the cutest outdoor kitchen in a garden right in town. The setup was clean and well organized. Thao showed is the recipes, told us about the Viet culture, and helped us through the whole process. She was the most cheerful and the sweetest teacher, with her 2 helpers equally amazing. Everything was delicious, we even brought back some leftovers and cute souvenirs.
At the end of the night, we were not able to find a ride back to our hotel because of the pouring rain outside. She offered to take us back herself without hesitation.
I would recommend this experience to anyone! The staff was incredible, and this was definitely a highlight in our trip ❤️
