Mekong Delta river tour - We visited the Mekong Delta, our tour guide Hannah was AMAZING!!!!!!! Her knowledge on local agriculture was incredible. She explained the history of Vietnam through the ages and explained how the river helped locals produce fruits and crops. We would recommend the private tour with Hannah especially as she was friendly, kind and very knowledgeable. Best tour guide we could have hoped for. Fruit and music with locals, a lovely Vietnamese lunch by the river. The bee farm was a particular highlight and the honey tea was so delicious we purchased honey made by the bees on the farm. The coconut candy factory was fascinating and candy treats to die for! The temple, the tut tut ride too much to even write down it’s something you have to experience!!! If you book this tour ask for Hannah, you will not be disappointed.

Private tour Mekong Delta - I’ve rated this a 5 simply because I’ve actually now been to the Mekong something I never thought I would do. As a private tour, our driver and guide were both excellent picking us up from our hotel and lots of commentary on the way which from Hi Chi Minh for us was roughly 1hr45mins. Car was clean, new, water provided and air conditioned comfort. At the waterfront Kevin organised our tickets and helped us board the first of 4 vessels. A word to the wise if you have accessibility issues this tour may not be right for you. It is challenging getting on and off some very small boats and balance is a must, not to mention navigating the mooring points where steps were extremely narrow and not in great repair (from an Australian’s perspective.) We toured each of the three islands in the Mekong accessible from Ho Ch Minh and viewed making sweets, music and singing, honey making and crocodiles and cat fish just to name a few. I could not watch anything to do with crocodiles, snakes etc because in my opinion there are far too many of each in enclosures simply not big enough Lunch was spent on the final island which did provide vegetarian offerings for us. Then it was back on another boat returning to the dock and travelling back to Ho Chi Minh. If I have one small complaint Kevin completely switched off the moment we returned to the car, sleeping and using his phone - it was clear the trip was over for him.

Amazing experience - My trip to the Mekong Delta was unforgettable, thanks to Kim, our amazing guide. Her deep knowledge and warm personality made the experience truly special. From cruising through peaceful canals to exploring bustling floating markets, Kim ensured we immersed ourselves in the local culture. She introduced us to delicious tropical fruits, explained the traditions of the region, and shared fascinating stories about life in the delta. Her passion for the area was contagious, making the trip both educational and incredibly enjoyable. If you’re visiting the Mekong Delta, having Kim as your guide is an absolute must!

Mekong Highlight - We don’t write reviews but we thought it necessary for this one. From start to finish we were spoilt thanks to our guide Tiny. She made the experience so amazing and went out of her way to make sure everything was seamless. Terrific organisation, English, local knowledge, transportation, and attitude. We thank you again Tiny and can only recommend for anyone looking for a Mekong tour.

Good experience - We did a one day Mekong delta cu chi tunnel tour with Danh. He made us crawl through the tunnels, we had to eat Vietcong food, we drank cobra vodka and loved every second (it takes hours tho, beware!) of it.

Don’t miss this tour! - The private tour today with our tour guide, Tiny was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. She was kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable about culture and customs, plus she took great photos of us on our trip. The driver and limo van were also comfortable. We recommend to everyone!

Very good private tour - Nice and friendly tourguide. Very interesting storys about Vietnam. Good driver very safe. No waiting times at travel. Good experience. Lunch is not necessary, if you arn‘t interested in Vietnam Food. All in all a very good private trip. Better than a tourist trip in crowded busses.
