Best food tour ever! - It was such a wonderful evening with our kind and knowledgeable guide Winnie. We had lots of local cuisines in some really secret restaurants which I could never find just by myself, and lots of fun too. Something even beyond expectations are those stories and histories behind foods I’ve learned from Winnie. That ‘Jingjiang Rousi’ dish, I’ve eaten for more than 50 times so far in China, but just known the lovely story how the dish was invented. This is truly the meaning of joining in a Lost Plate food tour! Highly recommended!!

Tasty evening with Bonnie - We had a very tasty evening with Bonnie on the evening hutong food tour. We enjoyed all the spots and each of us had a different favorite. Bonnie helped our vegetarians enjoy the evening as well. We left very full and would highly recommend to try places that as foreigners we would not have known how to navigate. Well done.

One of the best food tours we have been on! - We always like doing a food tour in every city we visit, it's a great way to learn about the city and the food! We did a Lost Plate tour in Chengdu and loved it so much we did another tour with them in Xi'an, so of course we had to go on their Beijing tour as well, it did not disappoint! Our tour guide Lan met us all at an easy to access subway station and we were off. Walking through the hutongs and learning about their history before our first stop the tour was a bonus! We had a large group, but managed to get seated quickly at each stop. All of the food was great. Our group was a rowdy bunch - but Lan kept us on track moving from one place to the other. Easily one of the funniest Lost Plate tour that we have been on. Again - Lost Plate did not disappoint by taking us to so many places that we would have never ventured into ourselves and giving us more than enough food to eat. We ended the night at a brewery - which is still a strange thought that China is filled with them now. Lan was quick to mention that the metro was going to stop running soon and made sure to get us moving so we didn't miss the last metro. We opted to take a taxi back instead - and she was more than helpful to show us how to use our app to get a taxi since it was so late at night and hailing one down would have been difficult. Would highly recommend a Lost Plate tour - especially this one in Beijing since it seemed to be our favorite.
