Highlights
  • Select Dubrovnik - Kotor is surrounded by lofty mountains which peer over its Bay of Kotor, Europe’s southernmost fjord. As the Mediterranean’s only fjord, this bay was added to the list of the twenty five most beautiful bays in July 2000.

You will be picked from your hotel (or pick up point) in Dubrovnik and then enjoy the tour in a new Mercedes, air-conditioned minibus with an English/Spanish speaking guide. Once you arrive at the Croatian-Montenegro border, you will need to be sure you have your passport with you.

Once you cross the border, enjoy a panoramic drive around the Bay of Kotor. Boka Kotorska will fascinate you. It looks as if the mountains have cracked and let the sea in. This is the southernmost fjord in Europe. The bay is all natural. Admire its beautiful small towns as treasuries of history, art, and beauty, that are strung like pearls on its coastline.

Kotor/Montenegro - Although an early start and a long day, I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was lovely and informative. The boat ride was very scenic. Visiting Montenegro and strolling around was a highlight.

Fun Day Trip to Montenegro! - Group tour with a fun and wacky guide on the bus! A lot of history from the city guide in Kotor only a little hard to hear as she didn't have a microphone and the school kids graduated so they were celebrating in the streets. Kotor is a big cruise ship stop, so it was full of tourists. We enjoyed Perast and our boat ride to the Lady of the Rock. Don't forget your passport and don't forget to give it to the bus driver!

Magical Montenegro - What a magical place. Carmella was a great guide. We learned a lot of the history of Montenegro. It was lovely to travel both by bus and by boat. The trip had a great combination of guided tour and free time. You need to be patient with border crossings but it's worth it to see these two beautiful places in Montenegro.

Worth the time - The boat ride to the lady of the rock was a highlight. Good Tour guide. Bit of a wait at immigration going into Montenegro (not tours fault) Good brief look at Kota.

Good trip to quickly... - Good trip to quickly explore Kotor and its bay. Not too far from Dubrovnik. Of course going through customs on the way back took forever, but it wasn’t the tour’s fault.

Nice trip and beautifull sightseeing - Nice trip, Good info and kotor and perast are worth the day trip. The only bad things is the croatian border where we spend an hour and a half.

I question their capabilities (it was like a circus)! - Received written confirmation / instruction on pick up point, but no bus showed up….i then got a call asking “Where are you? …We are all waiting for you”. It turned out that the booking agent had FORGOTTEN to let the bus / tour operator where we were! So we had to then be collected in a Taxi and follow / catch up with our bus (chase after it because by then it had left without us). When eventually getting on the bus we received dirty looks and snide remarks from passengers saying that WE were late and caused them to be delayed (even though they weren’t aware it was certainly not our fault whatsoever). During the journey we were asked to “pay city tax in cash”….that was something that we were not made aware of prior to the trip (otherwise we’d have brought cash)! When we eventually got to our destination there was lots of faffing around and delays because the bus couldn’t park, so we had to get dumped off in a random spot and walk quite a long way, to then meet a city tour guide (who nobody could hear - because she spoke so quietly)….hence the city tour was a complete waste of time due to not hearing any commentary. Next, when returning to the bus, several ‘passengers’ had decided to change seats (from their original seats) which caused numerous squabbles and almost a fight at the back. The boat trip to the island was dangerously over-crowded (a serious safety matter), which meant some passengers didn’t get seats and therefore had to sit on the outside / front (bow) of the boat without wearing any life jackets! All the time, during the boat journey the very young and unprofessional tour guide was so busy flirting and laughing with the ships captain (seemingly looking for her next ****?) that she had forgotten to give the passengers any commentary about what we were supposed to be seeing. Also during the return bus journey, she stood right next to the driver, distracting him by her excessive talking and laughing.
