See Nessy with Discover Scotland - On visiting Scotland I wanted to visit Loch Ness (let’s face it who wouldn’t). I booked this day trip through the Tourist Information Centre in Edinburgh and chose Discover Scotland because their tour bus was smaller and they offered guaranteed departures. The tour took us to Callendar for a pit stop for food before travelling through the highlands to Loch Ness (with many stops for photo ops along the way) Visitors need to be aware that to get on the boat tour which departs regularly from Loch Ness you need to pay your driver in cash otherwise you are unlikely to get on the tour. After finishing at Loch Ness your driver takes you back through the lowlands, stopping at Pitlochry for whiskey flavoured ice cream. Our driver was Jamie and he made our trip really enjoyable with his knowledge and facts. This was the highlight of our trip to Edinburgh and we would recommend any visitors to book this tour.

Lovely Highlands Tour - Michael was an awesome tour guide, and I’m so grateful for the tour experience we had! The bus was comfortable, and there were plenty of stops with bathroom breaks and snacks available to purchase. We saw so many castles, lakes and viewpoints- I’d love to spend more time exploring the highlands. I’m grateful for all of Michael’s local knowledge and the stories he shared throughout the day.

The bonniest tour - This the tour to do! Our guide Jamie knows his history, wildlife and played absolutely amazing tunes, he really made us feel Scotland. Plus, he was on point with his recommendations for the rest of the trip. Also, you get to see the vast and bonnie landscapes of Scotland. I really can't recommend this enough. I'm pretty sure I'll book again in the future.

Scotland beauty. - The weather didn't start out that well, but that was more then made up for by our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable about everything Scottish. Because we were with only a small group and the traffic was okay we had a bonus stop. Chose this tour because there is relatively more time outside the bus, with some of the best Scotland has to offer.
