Guests will check in at their lodge and unwind for the evening, preparing for the next day’s transfer. If arrival is early, there is an option for a city walk around Entebbe or Kampala Capital City.
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Start the day with an early breakfast, after which the guide will collect guests from their hotel to begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive to Bwindi Gorilla Park is lengthy but offers rewarding panoramic views of lush vegetation and traditional homesteads. There will be a stop at the equator for craft shopping, with lunch in Mbarara, before continuing to the gorilla trekking safari park of Bwindi, arriving at the park headquarters late in the evening. Guests will then check in at their lodge.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Day 3: Engage in Gorilla Trekking in the Park. Start the day with a morning coffee before embarking on the thrilling and memorable activity of trekking Mountain gorillas in the dense jungle of Bwindi. The duration of the trek varies, depending on the gorillas’ movements, ranging from 2 to 8 hours. Trekkers should be prepared for a long hike under muddy and steep conditions before encountering the magnificent apes in the jungle. The gorilla trekking experience is immensely rewarding as guests observe, play, and interact with them. To ensure the safety of both gorillas and visitors, individuals with communicable diseases such as diarrhea are not permitted to visit the gorillas. After trekking, guests will return to their lodge.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Chimpanzee Trekking & Boat Cruise
Kyambura Game Reserve (Kyambura Gorge) - Rise early for breakfast, then proceed to chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge, where guests can enjoy observing these primates for 2 to 3 hours. The gorge is also home to various other animals, including monkeys, birds, and baboons. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then prepare for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, offering opportunities to see numerous animals such as crocodiles, hippos, birds, and buffalos.
Departure to Kampala/Entebbe
Entebbe - Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before beginning the transfer back to Kampala, arriving in time for a transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch the departure flight.
