  • Atimaono - Located in the municipality of Papara, the Atimaono International Golf Course is halfway to our final destination. Here, in the background, through an old coconut grove, you will see the mountains of the peninsula of Tahiti.
  • The Water Gardens of Vaipahi - During this stop, you can enjoy a course designed to discover the typical flora of our islands. The waterfall of the garden will add a refreshing side to this visit. You will be served a plate of fresh tropical fruits and drinks.
  • Taravao - The town of Taravao is also the gateway to the peninsula of Tahiti, or “Tahiti Iti”. From there, you will have the impression of visiting a different island, the landscape becoming greener.
  • Teahupoo - Undoubtedly the highlight of this tour and why people from all over the world visit this town at the end of the island of Tahiti. For this part of the Tour, you will change your means of transport. Indeed, here in Teahupoo, is a wonder of nature, an exceptional wave that has value to be chosen for the surfing events of the 2024 Olympic Games. But to get there, you will swap your minivan for a boat then after 3 minutes of lagoon navigation, you will be closer to the surfers. Get ready for a unique experience!
  • Teahupo’o - After having lived the Teahupoo experience, if the weather allows it, your Captain/ guide will make you discover the less visited part of the island of Tahiti, the “Fenua Aihere”, accessible only by boat. The landscape is more wild and authentic with the impression that the peaks throw directly into the lagoon. After 15 minutes of boating, you will make a snorkeling stop while enjoying a beautiful setting. Then, your boat anchored in the river of “Vaiau”, you can enjoy a very special freshwater bath but you will also have the opportunity to go ashore to visit a forest of “Mape” or Tahitian chestnut. All this, with explanation of course.
  • Teahupoo Wave Sign - Before taking the way back, we will all return in the minivan then towards the end of the road for a souvenir photo with the monument representative of the Teahupoo wave and the Kilometric Point 0.

Beautiful Experience - This tour was really good. Even though the road was closed due to the Olympics, we were able to get through because these tour operators are from Teahupoo and they know all about Tahiti Iti. They explained everything very well and it was all very interesting. They pick you up from your hotel in a nice new minivan with AC and show you some interesting sites before arriving in Teahupoo. Then you switch to a boat and see the beautiful scenery. The lunch was Tahitian food and delicious. You take a walk in the jungle so be sure to bring shoes that you walk in the water and then in the jungle which was really nice. Mosquitoes were not bad but I would say to bring some mosquito repellent just in case. Snorkeling was fun, be sure to break a towel and sunscreen. They provide snorkeling gear but we brought our own. This was a very special trip and I highly recommend it. Teepu and Goa were super nice.

Super recommended. A 10 for the entire experience. - The tour has been fantastic. The organization a 10. They picked us up from the cruise terminal at the agreed time. They took us in a fairly new van with air conditioning, to Teahupoo. They made several stops to go to the bathroom and visit some waterfalls. Then at Teahupoo they were waiting for us with a good-sized boat. The entire team was always super friendly, patient and with a smile. They treated us very well at all times. On the boat we were 4 couples plus 3 crew, there was more than enough space for everyone. The newly built boat, good feeling. We went to see the famous wave. Driving the boat was calm, smooth, and quite stable. We were able to see and photograph the wave calmly without rushing. And we also did other activities on the boat, like going snorkeling in the reefs and they prepared a delicious lunch based on fresh Polynesian-style tuna. Food a 10. Afterwards they dropped us off at the cruise ship station where they had picked us up. Experience and Treatment a 10. Everything is fantastic.
