Istanbul Half-Day City Tour – Tokat
Istanbul - Begin with a visit to TOPKAPI PALACE, the grand residence of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The palace houses a stunning collection of crystal, silver, Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the renowned jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, and the Holy Mantle, which contains relics of the Prophet Mohammed. Next, visit the SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE, located opposite St. Sophia. Built in the 16th century by architect Mehmet, it is famously known as the BLUE MOSQUE due to its magnificent interior adorned with blue Iznik tiles. Explore the HIPPODROME, the ancient site of chariot races, featuring three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, experience a unique leather fashion show at a Leather Factory. Conclude the tour with a visit to the GRAND SPICE BAZAAR. Begin your exploration with visits to the Archaeology Museum, Sifaiye Madrasah, The Double Minaret Madrasah, Buruciye Madrasah, Castle Mosque, Gendarme House, Government House, Great Mosque, and the Broken and Curved Bridge. Take a break for a local lunch. Afterward, continue visiting Ottoman highlights such as Meydan Mosque, Sems-i Sivasi Tomb, İhramcizade Cultural and Art House, Subasi Karavansarai, and Tashan Karavansarai. Dinner and overnight stay in Sivas.
Sivas – Divrigi – Kangal Tour - Cappadocia
Cappadocia - Travel to the Divrigi district, approximately 170 km from the center. Start with the Great Mosque and Hospital of Divrigi, a remarkable structure combining a monumental hypostyle mosque with a two-story hospital, including a tomb. The mosque is a unique masterpiece of Islamic architecture. Continue with visits to Divrigi Castle and historical mansions until the lunch break. After lunch, depart for Kangal town, where you will visit the Hot Spring Water Pools and have the opportunity to see the Kangal dogs, a breed of large livestock guardian dogs originating from this town.
