Try to get AMADEUS as your guide - We totally lucked out on two levels: we had a small group of 4, and Amadeus was our tour guide. He is passionate about art, Michelangelo, and imparting his knowledge to everyone in the group. He took us on a 90 minute tour through the Academy, ending in front of the statue of David, and we had a thorough understanding of what David meant to the not just the world of art, but to the Italians during Michelangelo's time. The museum counts how many people are allowed in at any point, so it's not a scrum as say, the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, but you have plenty of time to linger, admire, and actually be really close and see all the art and marvel at it at your leisure. Thank you, Professor Amadeus!

Great Service - I was late to the meeting point and yet a representative got me a ticket and help me skip the line into the museum. Very grateful for their help and service. Museum was still a wonderful experience. To go without a skip the line ticket is insanity.
