Chianti wine country - Enjoyed our tour with Luigi as our tour guide. Though I love the wine tasting, I really enjoyed taking the time to stop by the little shops and experiencing authentic Italian shops.

Highlight of our trip to Florence - The Bus was first class along with the driver. The tour guide Luigi was extremely personable and did a fantastic job. The drive through the Tuscan hills was breathtaking. The two wineries were great and the presentations and wine/food pairings were first class. We bought two bottles of wine at the first winery, it was that good. Would definitely recommend this 5 hour trip as it was the highlight of our trip to Florence.

Best driver ever! - Our guide, Christian, took us through the Chianti region and to a wine tasting. Best part of our trip! During the drive, he shared history of wine making as well as history of the area. It was like traveling with a really smart friend! Thank you, Christian!

Amazing trip! - Great tour with sweet Assia as a guide! The first wineyeard Was the best visit of the two. They had exellent wine and an a amazing balsamico 👌🤌 and a guided tour at the winery. Second wineyard was a bit dissapoiting, No tour on the winery and the wine was not the best (our opinion). First wineyeard was the highlight, second highlight was the small town castellina di chianti ❤️ what an charming place! Too Sad we Only had about 30min there, would have paid more for trip Just to have an hour there! Thanks to Assia for a Great Day, guide and many good advices, your the best! Higly reccomended! First Winery was Excellent, Second Winery was a zero - The tour guide was very monotone and her english was difficult to understand by Americans. She really didn't add much information to the tour. However, the first winery, Poggio Amorelli, was fantastic. Our host at the winery was amazing - he provided a lot of information about the wine process and a tour of the winery. The Tuscan lunch was superb as were the wines that accompanied it. The tour should have stopped there - the second winery was very dull and used the same glass for each of the different wines that we tasted. The host at this winery provided minimal information about the winery and the wines.

Kind Host but Way Too Rushed - The small group wine tour offered great intimacy for the size of the group. The van used by Ciao Tours was extremely comfortable with greatly sized windows to view the countryside. My favorite part of the tour was the route. The selections of vineyards and a visit to a small village for cheese tasting allowed us to see various angles of Tuscany countryside and it was astounding. The first vineyard was wonderful and our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. The olive oil and selection of wines were lovely. However, the second half of the trip, including the second vineyard/winery was way too fast, they served us in paper cups and plates (bad for ambiance and environment) and we did not get to fully enjoy the 2nd stop. I really loved the first half of the tour, and it was a good experience overall.

Lovely vineries, but the tour was very rushed - I enjoyed the visit to both vineries, but I was disappointed with the tour overall because: - there were around 20 participants, not 12 as the tour advertised - the vinery visits were rushed and we were not told about the wine production as advertised - we didn’t stop in Greve at all and the reason wasn’t explained - there were families with young children on a tour who made noise on a bus, so it was hard to hear the tour guide

Could be better - First winery we stopped was good with a knowledgeable host and good products. Second one was poorly organised and nothing special - noisy and overcrowded. Our driver Allessandro wasn’t great. He indicated he didn’t like tourists played Latin American music loudly so he didn’t have to talk or answer questions and he dropped us off at a different place because the proper place “wasn’t good for him”. This left us with a long walk on a very hot day.
