Excellent - I loved the walk. We were in the family the girl who works for the company was MT helpful and friendly, Tatiana. She informed us of everything that could be done on the island. We love recommend

The red buses are the best! - I walked through the yellow buses to the red ones to know the comparison between the two and Noélia showed us the map and explained the different tours and we decided to buy the 27 Euro tickets because it was more economical because we could do two tours. She was really nice and super professional.

Amazing views - The views were amazing. We spoke with Diogo S. And he sugested us to hop off at pico dos barcelos. Nice place to have a beer abd enjoy the fantastic views over the city and the ocean. For 20€ you get two days to hop on hop off as many times as you wish. Thanks Diogo S.

I recommend to try - I was approached by the girl Noélia who was very friendly and was able to remove us all the doubts that arose!! It was a very fun and relaxed tour!! I recommend this experience to know a little more of Madeira!! Thanks 😊

Poor choice - We did the blue route tour but was disappointed. The audio didn’t match with what we were looking at - there was more music played over the course of the trip than information about Madeira and it was essentially a trip up the hillside and back down again. Many things and places of interest we passed weren’t even mentioned in the audio. Half way up, the driver parked up for 10-15 mins - this was a 75 min trip all told. So a poor use of the time available. Would either recommend trying the red route or doing a sightseeing trip with a different operator such as the yellow bus company or one of the tuk-tuk tours instead of this one with City Sightseeing.

Terrible Hop On Hop Off Experience! - Having done hop on hop off buses with this company many times before, I can say that this was the worst experience and not up to the usual standards. Our bus driver never stopped or gave us any instructions on how to inform him that we wished to get off. The commentary did not note the stop numbers indicated and the map. Many of the headset plugs did not work. Once off the bus, the number of the stop indicated on the “you are here” portion of the map at the stop did not agree with the numbered sign for the stop. An employee indicated that the buses run every 20 minutes yet we waited over an hour at one stop. Would not recommend this tour for Madeira.

Not for people who can't walk far, as it is too far to get to a stop. - We booked on line and they took our money three days before we were going. We had every intention of going on the trip. On the morning it was so far to get to a stop , we had to abort the trip. We were led to believe that the stop was near the port than it was. When we explained, they were unwilling to refund our money of £33.
