Into the Heart of the Jungle

As the sun began its descent over the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, I found myself in the bustling town of Jaco, Garabito. Known for its vibrant surf culture and stunning beaches, Jaco is a place I’ve frequented many times in search of the perfect wave. But this time, I was here for a different kind of adventure—a night walk through the jungle, a chance to explore the nocturnal wildlife and savor local cuisine.

Our guide, Geirold, met us at the designated spot, and soon we were on our way, leaving the familiar sounds of the ocean behind. The drive to the jungle was short, just enough time to let the anticipation build.
